You get a feeling of emptiness as you enter the restaurant as the tables were spaced quite far apart, very unlike the usual Asian restaurant. The food isn't bad and quite authentic having tried the Ipoh noodles and char-kuay teow. However, the quietness seemed a little too distracting.

The first restaurant that I dined in when I am in Perth. It was recommended by one of our friend for authentic Malaysian food. The food was good though. The down side were the ambience and service of this restaurant. The decor and furniture fittings in this restaurant were old. The staff was not friendly and inattentive.

They have Nasi Lemak as weekend special. The Nasi Lemak is served with chicken or beef rendang. I would recommend Nasi lemak, Char kuey teow and Ipoh hor fun. Do not hesitate to give it a try. Just go for the food and not the ambience.

I've frequently dined in this restaurant since 2006, and the menu has a small variety of the Malaysian cuisine. The sticky date pudding is my absolute favourite. The Ipoh Hor Fun is also quite delicious, and has since been expanded to many varieties (including the dry version).

Service here is the worst however. Seriously understaffed and unattentative waiters. My biggest pet peeve is having dishes served at different times, which ALWAYS happens here. I've seen a table ordering the same dish, and having to wait at 5 minutes intervals just for each of the guests meals. If we came in as a party, the restaurant should oblige to have our meals come out together.

It seems with every visit, the dishes have gone up in prices. What's with that? The ambience here is horrible. Plain stark walls. Horrible.
