Abysmal organisation and service. My wedding reception was a disorganised farce. Not going to waste any more words in discussing this rubbish as totally distressed from the whole state of affairs. Basically a total rip off. Read all the reviews and hope it doesn't happen to you. Good luck.

Went here for our 1st wedding anniversary. Service initially very attentive. Scotch fillet was amazing.

Then everything went a bit pear-shaped. It took about 20 minutes to get our table cleared when our mains were finished. Then we ordered a glass of dessert wine and an apple tart tatin each. After 20 minutes a waitress came and told us that the chef had pre-cooked the tarte tatin pastry and had burned them all so they weren't servable (I've never heard of pre-cooking pastry for tarte tatin before).

So we asked for the glasses of dessert wine and two minutes to choose another dessert. After 20 minutes or so another waitress came and explained they were out of the one dessert wine that they do by the glass and offered us a choice of 2 others. We picked one, then ordered our 2nd choice of desserts with her. God knows why it took 40 minutes to ascertain they were out of that wine. Then we had our desserts which were a disappointment, the biscotti with the creme brulee was stale and soft, and the brulee had no taste.

My husband's choc mousse was not hugely exciting but fine. Then it took us another 20 minutes to find someone to get us the bill. When it came they had charged us for 4 desserts rather than 2. It was a strange night, it was as if when the time went past 9 pm the service staff just totally stopped caring. Very frustrating and annoying. There were only about 4 tables left in the place for the last hour, and 4 waitstaff, yet it was impossible to get anyone to help us or clear the table.

Wouldn't recommend it. If I'm going to pay close to $300 for 3 courses I really expect them to have decent service.

Finally! I heard that the owners had totally changed the venue and they're not wrong! It's completely different, better menu, more kid and share-food friendly, which means it's a lot more casual and you can come right of the beach (in beach clothes, not bathers) and have something to eat. Even a drink without eating, hurrah!

They have a woodfire pizza oven, heaps of fresh seafood, a great WA-based wine list and their own tap beers, like 'Beach Belle' (yum). Great service, young friendly team. Will eat here again, place looks amazing, well done!

A beautiful location and some reasonable food, but marred by atrocious service and a senior staff who was too busy dealing with a possible wedding booking to look after his other guests or keep his staff focussed on the job.

The restaurant was 2/3's empty on a Thursday evening, with several waiting staff free, however, meals took over an hour to arrive, and were bought 10 minutes apart, with side dishes being bought before main courses and allowed to go cold.
Wine was served, but then left several feet behind the table, with no wine waiter checking to see of more was required.

For the premium location and high prices, you would expect a significantly higher level of service and attention than was received. This is all down to a failure in having management in place to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant floor and the correct delivery of both food and wine.

To be then told the senior staff is unavailable (having left to go interstate), is unacceptable, especially as the staff are left to deal with unhappy customers, which should not be their responsibility. Refurb aside, I would avoid for 6 months until the management iron out the significant problems that still remain.

Being a local, it is disappointing to bring guests to what is advertised as a good restaurant in probably the premium location in WA to then receive service like this.

As a former Perth resident on a return visit, Indiana lived up to our memory of it as a good “special occasion” venue. It has a great atmosphere with a spacious interior and period fittings, coupled with views over Cottesloe beach and the Indian Ocean. Our meals were good, especially the chicken. However, on the night we were there, although the wait staff were doing their best there didn’t seem to be enough of them even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy.

I love this place! it's set on the beach with the water lapping underneath. The decor is gorgeous, rusting wooden floorboards, persian carpets hanging from the ceiling, big ornate mirrors, a wrought iron fireplace and a marble top dining table. It's romantic and really sets the mood for the good food to come. The maitre d' was a colorful moroccan guy with a great attitude and personality.

We had grilled crayfish, chicken in a semi gravy-ish sauce and a goats cheese salad. Food was so delicious! Dessert was pannacotta with a raspberry sauce followed by some herbal tea. Absolutely to die for! A MUST! if I lived in Perth, I would go here every month!
