Terrible experience at Fire & Ice. Rude senior staff, whoever he was (someone wearing a t-shirt, denim shorts and thongs!) did nothing to help the profile of the restaurant nor attempt to politely rectify a situation regarding a complimentary glass of wine. What he did do was stand up in front of everyone and advise that the misunderstanding occurred on our side and if we had been to any other restaurant in Perth we would have been able to understand what his menu actually described? Off to a bad start.

It only got worse, we were asked for our orders even though we had pre-ordered and provided all details to the restaurant and then they ran out of chairs!
Unfortunately, the key staff involved with our group weren't able to handle the situation and became very rude. Usually you would expect a restaurant to be apologetic and aim to please, certainly not the approach of Fire & Ice!

Credit where credit is due, the food was quite nice, but the price is not justified if the dining experience is terrible. The attitude of the staff will ensure that I never go back there.

This is without doubt the worst restaurant/bar I have ever been to in my 20 years I have lived in Perth!

We booked a table of 8 as we saw on their website $1 oysters and $10 steak and pint night was on Tuesday. The lady who made the booking for us confirmed that it was 1$ oysters and the steak special that night and booked the table for us. When we arrived on Tuesday we asked for 2 dozen $1 oysters and the waitress told us that the $1 oyster night was on Thursdays and they had run out of oysters so we couldn’t get them anyway.

The next waitress told us that the $1 oyster night was on wednesday! We then asked for the $10 steak and pint night (as quoted on the website), however, they said it is now $15 for the steak and pint special. As the waitress did not have a clue about anything we asked the speak to the senior staff. The senior staff came over and was unbelievably rude. When we asked why the website says $1 oysters and $10 steak and pint night on Tuesday, when the restaurant does not deliver ether of these she said to us the website hadn't been updated for 2 months.

When asked why not she replied very rudely the website was not under the restaurants control and it was impossible to be updated and implied to us that we we're stupid to think of such a thing! After she was continually rude and offensive we realised we we're not getting anywhere so asked for the bill and left. The bill came and surprise another mistake, they had overcharged for the only thing we ordered, the wine.

When corrected the senior staff stood there and did not say anything, not even one sorry. We would have been happy if she said sorry at the start and offered us some free garlic bread or something small like that, but she continued being rude and obnoxious.

This place is a disgrace, no ambience, the food and drinks are completely over priced and the service is the worst I have ever come across. Fire and Ice is a poor excuse for a restaurant.

Great food and great service. Outdoor area is great for an afternoon or evening drink and meal.

With a fabulous location the newly opened Fire and Ice Bar has sparked curiosity. Hearing great things about Subi's newest addition we decided to try oyster shucking Thursdays. Though when we say we were disappointed we wondered if we were eating at the same place as the reviews that we had read previously. The service was okay though our problem started when we were handed water stained menus with mixed colours and fonts.

We were then greeted by the senior staff and his obnoxious attitude was nearly enough for us to get up and leave. While waiting for our oysters we couldn't stand the smell of kerosene coming from the wooden fire sticks. The oysters were quite tasty and good value for money.

My partner was put off as she was constantly asked by 3 different staff if she would like another drink we understand the need to sell a product though when this is in the space of 10 minutes you realise the venue has no communication between staff and no management by the senior staff.
