Love the dim sum lunch but was disappointed with the meal on an evening visit. Sweet and sour pork had very little sauce and other than a few small bits of carrots and pineapple and 1 piece of capsicum no veges and the meat was a little over cooked. The garlic prawn had a lot of onion and garlic but very little flavour. We ordered honey chicken and got lemon chicken and this was the worse I have ever had the chicken was thin strips of chicken in batter and was so dry and flavour less that we could barely eat it definitely the worst thing I have ever eaten.

Love the dim sum lunch but forget the evening meals wouldn't go back for that. Service was good as we dined early and very few people in the place but what it would be like is debatable.

Went in for a meal and after ordering asked for a glass of water. I was told that they only have bottled water as the tap water here is so poor (what do they use for cooking?) I refused to pay for water when paying for a meal as I know the tap water in the area is fine. We left and went to another restaurant.

Have tried Emmas twice now, once for dinner, which was delicious, reasonably priced and quickly delivered, and also for lunchtime Dim Sum, which was also excellent. No wonder there are people lining up outside on the weekends at lunch time. Well worth a visit.

I couldn't believe I've just spent $150 for a totally meat-less shell-heavy crap snow-crab which caused both my wallet and my teeth gum to bleed at Emma's "Seafood" Restaurant. I swear to god that the crab meat was so tiny weeny that my husband and I were chewing shell after shell looking for the snowflake-textured crab meat that almost didn't exist.

It was our first visit as a "treat" to celebrate my birthday but what I couldn't believe is that we'd become the victim of bad restaurant practice very common in Asia where dying seafood is claimed as "fresh" and the weight is typically marked up to boost the cost as seafood is charged per pound or kg. Before I entered, I glanced around the restaurant and saw many happy-faced patrons so I had no concern about ordering the most expensive seafood dish, namely the snow-crab.

Of course when we started to launch the search for crab meat by biting off shell after shell we knew immediately we had been victimized. I glanced around the happy patrons' tables again and realised nobody other than us had ordered seafood. Of course only when we paid the final bill were we certain that we were totally ripped off, and what else can I say? Happy birthday to me!
