    Had a wonderful lunch in the Swan Valley. The restaurant is attached to the Heaford Glen winery. We tried their wines while waiting for our food. I had the Venison which was well cooked, medium rare. It was tender and juicy and one of the best I have had in Perth. My wife had their seafood pie, which was marshy and a little over cooked. Postre was the saving grace for a mediocre meal.

    The service started out well but towards the end when the restaurant started to fill up, it got a little disorganized. Our desserts arrived (both warm) came out before our daughter's sundae. Ambience was great, it was a relaxing afternoon among the gum tress and far away from the crowds of a Sunday of the Swan Valley. We will come back again.
