You go to Blue Duck for the view, out over the North Cott beach, and, perhaps, to see and be seen (if that’s of interest to you). So presumably the lack of ambience inside doesn’t matter. However, the food at an early dinner was ok and after an initial delay, the service was efficient and friendly (we were impressed when our allergy issue was remembered and checked without asking when we ordered desserts). Prices no bargain, but probably about standard taking into account the view!

In for an early dinner, the ambience was lacking from the inside and with the shades down and very noisy. Staff pleasant enough but somehow lacking in enthusiasm which started at arrival when place was nearly empty. Tempura baby snapper over done and oysters were crunchy! Disappointing ok for a meal after the beach but not for a special occasion.
