Very nice change to the previous atmosphere. Really like the oriental decor and the food range has expanded massively. Would go again. Cheers.

Words can barely express how totally infuriated I am about the service at the
Atrium restaurant today. After waiting for half an hour with two hungry tired
young children for breakfast this morning, we were curtly and rudely informed by
their reception staff that only hotel guests were permitted to have breakfast on a
Sunday morning, and to leave and try again in an hour. Essentially it was a
polite "P_ss off!".

So despite waiting 30 minutes wait in the heat (it is like standing in a glasshouse) and having paid for parking, and despite the fact my children were now starting to cry and get upset, we had no choice but to leave and go to another hotel. This is unacceptable, why is there not a sign simply informing guests that only hotel guests could be served instead of inconveniencing us? Furthermore the front desk staff require training in how to speak and deal with clients.

I own a restaurant in Singapore and I would never have allowed any of my staff to speak to any of our customers like that, especially under those circumstances. This is a disservice to the Intercontinental Hotel as a 5 star establishment and it has left me ill disposed towards ever attending any of their restaurants again.

$25 for a continental or $34 for a full buffet breakfast with no other option available at this restaurant. Got to be kidding. If you are staying here your only other breakfast option is room service. At least with this option if you just want a few eggs and coffee it will only cost approx $13. Pleasant enough surroundings but really over the top with value for money.
