Contacted Airey Dental for a quote for a scale, polish and inspection…was told the maximum charge would be $200.

Upon attendance was told they were overbooked and scale and polish would need to be done over two separate appointments with total charge including initial inspection being $290. Have had scale and polish and inspections with other dentists before on regular basis never costing more than $190.

Their over booked situation is not my problem (their responsibility not to overbook appointments) and have never heard of a scale and polish being done over two sessions. Scale and clean was done as well as inspection at a total cost of $165. However, polish was left over for a future appointment with an extra cost of $125 bringing the total to $290.

This is very different to what was quoted initially…much more expensive! Double appointment very inconvenient for myself the client and job requested was not finished in regards to polish. Would not recommend Airey Dental to anyone seeking dental work.
