Excellent food, love the fish curries, and the naan bread is to die for! Great service and atmosphere. Great value for money as the dishes are very filling and the taste is awesome. If you have room after the main meal make sure you try some of the yummy desserts. Will definitely be going back and will be recommending this place to everyone. One of the best Indian Restaurants in Perth!

I totally disagree wit the last 2 reviews! I born as an Indian and I believe the meaning of authentic Indian food, Agni caters best Indian food in Perth. I have been going to Agni for the past 3 years. Comparing to the previous management, the reborn of Agni is recognized with new management.

The food is absolutely authentic and fresh quality dishes. The staff are friendly and efficient. My favourite butter chicken and they make the best naan! Buffet is a great deal cos we get to taste many different variety of food and all you can eat- wat else could u ask more? I am very happy and even got my wedding reception booked at Agni next month. I'm sure all my guest will have a blast at Agni. Looking forward for their hospitality.

Have to agree with 'Shanez' who posted earlier in the year. Used to go to the Agni at least twice a week two years ago when I was last here and was looking forward to the same quality. However, the restaurant is now under new management and it is not a patch on what the previous owners gave.

We ordered two curries, pilau rice, peshwari naan and a roti bread. The Peshwari naan came out first covered in oil followed by the curries 3 minutes later. The rice arrived almost 5 minutes after that followed by the roti bread a good 4 minutes later. The Peshwari naan just had a few pumpkin seeds in it and no sign of the fruit and coconut which is what makes this bread. The Roti was unedible as was as oily as the Naan was. Yuk.

The best part about the whole meal was the Pilau rice. What a shame that the quality and standards have dropped this low and we were also stunned how expensive it was so we will not be back! I am still trying to decide if there actually was any chicken in the Jalfrezi I ordered and thats not good.

Following on from my above post, when we left the restaurant the lady on front of house came out and asked for my phone number so as the owner could contact me and discuss the quality of food we had. To date nobody has bothered to call so it really underlines how bad things are there. I did not ask to be called but she insisted so it shows them in an even worse light.

To anyone wanting to try this restaurant then I would say to check out others first to avoid disappointment. Luckily, Perth does have some very good Indian restaurants and they will be getting our custom now.

Great food, excellent service, lovely atmosphere, excellent selection of dishes on the buffet ranging from mild to hot and all for $28! You won't be disappointed! We will definitely be going back.
