Very much a casual steakhouse rather than a fine dining experience, my fiance and I were a little overdressed for the occasion. All mains come with the salad bar, which provided all the ingredients to make your own caesar salad, as well as a few other things. My certified angus sirloin with cafe de paris butter ($36) came with chips and was ordered medium rare. It came bac, perhaps, closer to medium, but was so tender and flavoursome that I didn't care, although they were a little heavy handed with the pepper.

My fiance's barramundi ($33) was moist and delicious, although came with a good tablespoon full of capers, most of which were left. The side of seasonal vegetables ($6.50) we ordered appeared to be partly fresh and partly frozen, and were quite watery and bland. Stick with the salad.

For dessert we shared an apple, almond and frangepani tart ($11.50), served with vanilla ice cream and a lace of caramel sauce. The sauce was sickly sweet, but thankfully there was very little of it, therefore, not spoiling an otherwise heavenly dessert. Everything from the firm, spicy apple, buttery, flaky pastry, crisp, toasty almonds, creamy, not oversweet ice cream and sweet aromatic frangepani was note perfect.

The beer list is impressive, James Squire Amber Ale paired well with my steak, my fiance opting for Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier. Overall an enjoyable meal, not romantic, but I would go again.
