Food was lovely, however, the staff were completely uninterested! More interested in there discussion and iPhones. Not helpful at all. Plates were left everywhere. Slapped the fish on to the grill like he didn't care when you have paid good money for it. Hope it gets better as I live around the corner.

There is no love lost in this far from supreme pizza joint. The food was average at best with flavour being the missing ingredient and the wine list is extortionate. One staff member had an actual argument with me in front of our table guests over a minor point which leaves this place on my 'never to repeated' list. There are so many great pizza places to visit and this is not one of them.

What an awful experience, a group of us decided to have a friends baby shower here with promises of Afternoon tea and pampering. Aside from stroppy phonecalls weeks before the day asking for payment. We were then greeted with attitude for being late for our 2pm appointment, having arrived at 2pm, apparently we were supposed to get there at 1.45.
I then got the worst manicure in my life, the polish was still tacky several hours later and bubble on every nail, no cuticle work done and a quick dip in a bowl of product apparently makes a luxury manicure?! - $65 bucks wasted. Friends having massages were asked to shower afterwards.
Afternoon tea consisted of a piece of chocolate cake. The girls who work there are lovely but the general atmosphere and professionalism is shocking, most over priced place in Sydney.

I love coming here for their $10 meals. My favourite is Mexican Mondays, you can save like $14 on your meal which is pretty good. My favourite has to be the Chicken Fajitas, and they don't change the serving size just because they're cheaper! Definitely try one of their thickshakes, those things are unlike anything else I've ever had. The staff are cool and helpful and the courtyard is really nice but don't sit too far from a heater!

Very good cafe, the "benny" (eggs benedict) was really scrumptious, coffee was nice, staff were friendly and accommodating given there was a bit of a wait. The menu had a bit of attitude, i.e. there were a few innovations in there, but with solid groundings.

Went for breakfast. Ordered large flat white. Coffee came in small mug 3/4 full half of which was froth. Worst coffee I've had ever. Ordered big breakfast.
Sausages cheap and nasty with an unusual orange colour bacon, poor quality, obviously had been cooked and left for a long period. Cheap white supermarket bread.
All looks like very cheap ingredients, worse than supermarket quality. Tried complaining when I paid the bill but as their English was so poor I don't think they understood. I will definitely never return.

Went here last night for a mothers day dinner with 8 of us (second visit for a few of us) and again we were really impressed.
Very friendly and knowledgeable waiters who gave good advice and were always topping our our water and wine.
The food was brilliant, free baked in house bread which is rare in Sydney and then we had the tuna carpaccio, arancini balls and zucchini flowers to start which all were fantastic.
I had the eye fillet and it was cooked perfectly and the potato accompaniment was delicious. Others on the table had the fish, duck and pasta and all were amazing.
Dessert I had the gelato which was great (they do mention it isn't homemade but from a good shop in newtown) and my wife had the tiramisu which she loved.
Will definitely be coming here again, they have consistently good food, good wine list, great service and best of all value for money.

Checked out Mr Coopers the other night. What a hidden gem. Went with 3 mates for some snacks and cocktails. Food was fantastic we shared a few tapas style dishes and ended up cosying up to the bar and was intrigued to try a few of the barman's suggestions. He mixed me a carrot cake martini which isn't on the menu yet.... Absolute heaven.
This place will definitely take off. Worth checking out.

We went here for lunch after reading Mr Durack's review and followed his example ordering the charcuterie platter. This arrived on a wooden board, with plates for each of us and a basket of bread. The pate, cold cuts, etc, were very good but the item which had me drooling was the piccalilli.
This is fantastic, chunky pieces of veg with a delicious, tart, mustardy sauce. This is the relish they serve in Heaven. Nice wine list, good coffee, pleasant atmosphere and did I mention the piccalilli? On a score of 1 to 10, I give this 15.

We have been here a few times. Yesterday we called in for lunch. MM had the sirloin steak, blackened (in a good way) on the outside, blood running free inside, with chips (hand cut, perfectly fried) and bernaise sauce. I had the wild mushroom ravioli, in a deliciously buttery sauce. We then shared the cheese. Three cheeses, soft cheddar type and blue with oatmeal crackers, grilled bread and apricot chutney. Fantastic! Nice selection of wine by the glass, excellent black coffee, $87.00 very well spent.

I ate at the Four in Hand on the weekend as part of a group booking with a more limited menu. The food was very good. Very bright and intense flavours in the entree (a seared bonito salad). Beef for main course suffered from being slightly cold, but the chocolatey dessert was very good, served with cress on top which added crunch and bitterness to the gluey chocolate thing underneath. Would like to go back for a quieter dinner where I could focus more on the food.

Had the burger the other day and have to say it is one of the best burgers I have ever had in Sydney! Awesome bun, char grilled patty, beetroot relish, seeds mustard, vintage cheddar and pickle (all burgers should come with pickle, always lifts a burger to the next level). Will definitely drop in again when I'm in Paddington.

Great experience. Service 100%, a fun place to be. Ambience - great space, great part of Sydney.
Food - desserts - 100%. The meringue was to die for, as was the salty caramel sauce.
Mains in the most part excellent, 2 out of 3. I had the beef, a hard dish to please everyone on, it was cooked to perfection, however, it was a little tough for my liking.

Very good, hearty food and enthusiastic service. I still find the dining room rather close and noisy, but the restaurant has definitely improved in its latest revamp. If anything, the entrees and puddings (this place still seems to me to have an anglo, 80s ambience) are more interesting and satisfying than the main courses, which are a bit limited and predictable. The upstairs bar is a plus, and a great spot for a post dinner drink or two.

I dine in this little slice of heaven each time I am in Sydney. It has the most Authentic Sicilian fare outside of Sicily that I have ever tasted. The menus changes daily and is dependant on whatever is fresh in the market, just as in Sicily. Seafood, Salad's and authentic pasta dishes like 'Alla Norma' are the backbone of the menu in this cosy little restaurant. The chef and the staff are Sicilian, and this heritage shows throughout the restaurant. Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my lunch experience during the week.
Completely understaffed - e.g.: barista was also the drinks person so we did not get coffees for over 20 minutes. Must be at least 20 full tables and less than 3 floor staff, we experienced poor table management and allocation and overpriced food.
Quite frankly we were shocked at being told promptly of a cake charge pp. with no plates or utensils provided, especially when there was little to no service throughout the coffee ordering. I would recommend you get your coffee, cake and sandwiches at the cafe, or BYO and ditch the restaurant.

Really disappointed!! Ordered the "3 mushroom" pizza with thyme and got the most disgusting pizza base in the world with what seemed like a enormous portion of oily button mushrooms that had been fried dumped on top. Left me with a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the night. Revolting!
