Great experience. My partner and I tried out the Surfhouse when it first opened and thought the menu was a bit limited though food and service was good. We have recently revisited to try out the new menu and it didn't fail to satisfy. The new menu is amazing with a well balanced variety to suit all and service to match. Will definitely be returning very soon. A must for all restaurant goers.

I went to the Surfhouse for dinner with my boyfriend I hadn't heard the best things about the Surfhouse's menu value for money and the quality of meals but I must say that we were very surprised to see that they have changed their menu and the prices seem very reasonable and the food was great. It was a great night and would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

Recently celebrated our anniversary at the Surfhouse bar and grill. We ordered the most expensive meals on the menu ($43 ribeye fillet) and they were barely edibile. My wife and I were devastated by how poorly the meal was cooked and served.
Way over-priced food, poor and limited menu and the staff had little clue as to what the menu actually contained. The dining itself was more akin to a bistro and the table and chairs were circa 1987 David Jones cafe. Couldn't recommend on this outing and can only hope they improve in all areas.

Highly overpriced for what you receive. The food is what you would expect from a pub, Would not have been a problem if you paid for that type of meal but you are paying premium prices and they simply do not deliver. We paid approx $75 for our main meals 1 x salmon and 1 x rib eye steak.
I walked away so disappointed. Until they re price there meals Or completely change the way they prepare and serve their food to suit the prices. I would not recommend this restaurant, Sorry!

We recently celebrated our Wedding Anniversary at the Surfhouse Bar and Grill and absolutely loved it. Service was brilliant, view spectacular, food was faultless - especially the creme brulee (best ever tasted). Would highly recommend.

Well, Let me tell you! First impression, bit expensive for the location, however, willing to pay happily for tasty well presented food. Pity the taste and the presentation was very much lacking! $36.50 for a 300gm New York Sirloin with a potato and green beans is pretty expensive and then $76.5 for a 300gm Wagyu Sirloin with the same accompaniments, surely the kitchen staff can think of something a little more exotic than whole roast potato and green beans!
When the plate arrives, that’s exactly what you get, very similar presentation to what you might get at a Tavern or RSL. I decided I would order the Taleggio and Radicchio Risotto with crispy Zucchini flower and Chianti essence. I wasn’t too impressed with the price being $29.5 but took it on the chin and went for it.
Sadly though, when it arrived, it was served in what I would describe as an Entree bowl or what I would serve a child’s pasta in, so it was a very small serve. A tiny soggy Zucchini flower sat miserably on top and there was some very brown wilted shreds of Radicchio throughout. Now I was pretty certain that Chianti was an Italian Red Wine and could not really be used as an essence, and this risotto had nothing in it resembling any flavour or colour from Red Wine. As a whole, it was extremely bland with a bitter aftertaste.
