The food is good, however, the service is bad. We were sitting for a while and no one came to serve us. My husband had to go and get the menu. Then, we ordered Vanilla ice cream and 2 hot choc. We thought we had them together. They brought the ice cream first then nothing came next. We waited so long for the hot choc. We were not happy and my husband said we should leave because we were forgotten.
We also saw that people came after us, they had their orders, they finished and left the cafe. Another couple left without paying the bill but waitresses and waiters did not even know about it. We do not know there is a manager at this cafe to manage the service. People go out for dinner because they want to enjoy the food, however, nothing is worse than a bad service.

Look I loved the atmosphere but was very disappointed with the food. I ordered the waffles to share with my wife and a hot chilli chocolate for myself. The waffles were dry and cold (like they had just been taken out of the fridge and put on the plate). And my chilli hot chocolate was lukewarm and I could barely taste the chilli. So very disappointed.

The chocolate is delicious, especially the dark Peruvian (or was it Venezuealan) one, and the crunchy little balls covered with dark chocolate. The coffee is really good too. I like the ambience and the staff are really friendly. Perhaps, there are better chocolate stores in Sydney, but I can't be bothered driving 150 km to get there, and this is far better than your standard grocery store chocolate.

Stopped in for dessert on a quiet Thursday night. Our Banana split still hadn't arrived 30 minutes after we ordered. It arrived shortly after we asked about it and we were told 'We had to get the ice cream out of the back fridge'. Sadly the ice cream was mostly melted, and the wrong flavour (we ordered dark chocolate, and were given milk). The other scoop was vanilla bean, and tasted more like grocery store vanilla ice cream. Poor service, and staff who were not at all caring or helpful.

Bought several items including a piece of rocky road from this place. Some of the worst I've ever had. Since it was expensive, I complained on their facebook page, and my comments were deleted. There are far better and less expensive chocolateria to be found in Sydney.

I really like the fact that it's a chocolate cafe with decent savoury options. Unfortunately, my dessert, milk chocolate and honeycomb cheesecake was a bit dry and had too much of a cocoa-y taste. However, the individual chocolates were good.
