Since reopening, Finefish is far better value than previously, while retaining the good quality seafood and good service.

Went to Blue Plate on a Friday night with my partner. Was the first time either of us had been there. We didn't have high expectations as some of the reviews we had read weren't amazing.
I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good, not great, but It definitely satisfied us. Was a little on the expensive side, but the dishes were quite large. I have to commend them on their excellent service, all the staff were very attentive. Will definitely come back.

Real Authentic Thai food. I am Thai and working around the area, Myself and my partner been to this place at least twice a week. The food is just like back home, I wish one day 'Kao Soi' and 'Kuay teaw Nua' will appear on the menu.
Reasonable prices, Clean and Friendly service, This is the main reason we going back quite often.

Wow, what a let down. This restaurant is punching way above it's own weight! With swish styling and prices to match, we were very excited to try Pony but were so disappointed.
Small plates of crispy prawns were fine, but nothing great. I can't even recall what the second one was as it too was mediocre.
I actually sent my main of scallop tortellini back as it was dry, thick, cold and with not a spot of sauce or dressing on it? The manager apologised and organised a different meal. I had to go through 2 clueless waitresses first.
They did give me a complimentary dessert which was nice. $130 later... Choose somewhere else!

As a regular customer and fan of Sushi Samurai I have to say that something has changed recently and I'm not enjoying their food as much as I used to.
We occasionally eat in, but usually just order takeaway since it's so close to home. The quality of the takeaway meal I just ate was so poor it prompted this review.
Granted it was a Saturday night, but when you tell a customer that your food will be ready in 15 minutes, you have that meal ready then. I was told it would be another 10 minutes (and in that time parts of my order were ready and sitting on the counter getting cold).
My Wagyu Steak main was utterly disappointing. Considering it is one of their most notable dishes, I expected it to be of the same quality I've always enjoyed (both sit down and takeaway). This one was undercooked, the bean sprouts were raw and there was grizzle in the steak.
The miso has also changed. I don't know what's happened, but the quality of the food this time was bad.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal on a voucher, and will definitely be going back to what is now our favourite local Thai. The curry puffs were light and crispy, the red curry had beautiful spicy flavours and the chicken and cashew stir fry was aromatic and sublime. The service is awesome and we had a lovely conversation with one of the owners once she discovered we'd been to Thailand (saying 'thank you' in Thai made her day!).

Such a nice surprize awaiting patrons at the end of that tiny little alley. The food fabulous and the service quick and friendly. Well done guys. We enjoyed the dinner a lot and will be back. Even though we have to travel 150Ks from Newcastle.

Great place with excellent service and delicious food.
I loved the "cafe" feel of the restaurant, the air was thick with spices when we arrived. Altogether a great experience and looking forward to going back.
Just one improvement could be to get some wine coolers so we don't have to flag down the waiter when he's running around at a million miles an hour because our wine is in the fridge!
See you next time!

One of my new favourite restaurants!
Whilst I didn't think the burgers were the best I've had in Sydney, the beef and pork striblets were something different and really, really good. They both come on a plate of chips and taste nice together if you find striblets a bit salty on their own. The onion rings were a winner. They're not cooked in the usual way you might get at a fast food point.
I also enjoyed the ambience of the whole place and we had some friendly waiters. I consider the price to be worth it and it's not as expensive as you would expect for Neutral Bay. In total, we spent about $70 for 4 persons (+ 2 drinks) for 4 mains and 1 side.
Will definitely be paying a visit again soon.

I have been to Thirteen three times now and definitely intend to go again. The ambience and feel of the restaurant is very pleasant and relaxing. The owner looks like Bilbo Baggins from Lord of the Rings and he is the most gorgeous friendly host and waiter.
The food is delicious. The first time I went, I had the best garlic prawns I've ever eaten but by the time I'd come back a second time, the menu had changed. The new prawns entree was delicious but I craved the garlic prawns so the third time I went, I called ahead and asked for the garlic prawns and Thirteen graciously agreed to make them for me.
The mains are all fantastic. I highly recommend the beef and lamb. The only area I think that Thirteen is ever so slightly let down is desserts. The creme brulee is very enjoyable but the other desserts are not quite up to the standard of the delicious entrees and mains. Do not be deterred by that though. They are worth a try and I think it's just that the entrees and mains set a high standard.
Overall though, Thirteen is one of my absolute favourite restaurants. Definitely worth trying.

Had a dinner last night with our friends, this was my second time and this restaurant is always crowded with customers. Ordered hainanese chicken and rice, squid and ngo hiang. All of the food are delicious. It's a bit pricey (around $20 for each dishes) but it's worth it. The service was very good as well, as we asked the waitress to put b'day cake in fridge and some plates to serve it. Really recommended and will go back again.

Dined here tonight. Front of the restaurant is cheery, well lit, warm and buzzy. Unfortunately, we chose to sit out the back which was coooold, dark and bare brick floor (apart from a small carpet) and bare brick walls and lacking atmosphere as couples struggled to read their menus in the dark. Why not string some tiny "fairy lights" around the room which would give the room a more cozy and lighter feel... And more heat please!
Food was tasty, with a home cooked, comfy feel. Rabbit tender and beef checks melted in the mouth. Tarte tatin and coffee good also. Service by waitresses very pleasant although "maitre d" seemed a little distracted for some reason. Would go back but will definitely sit in front section!

This place may not have the best name, but it certainly has the best Thai in the Cremorne/Neutral bay area.
The chicken pad thai is very good but my favourite is the Boat Noodle soup, especially if you like intense flavours.
We live in Manly but travel all the way to Neutral Bay for their food.
The people are genuine and the food is made from scratch, highly recommended for an inexpensive yet delicious meal.

Our family had dinner here last night. Great family atmosphere, perfectly cooked meat and fish and very entertaining.
We had the Set A menu which was enough for me but possibly not for larger appetites (my husband). In any case, next time we will definitely pay an extra $3 for Set B which includes prawns and scallops which looked amazing!
Thanks to the staff, very accommodating, great with kids, perfect food.
