Good indian restaurant, the chicken curry is excellent (though confusingly named).

Staff could not do enough to serve us. Would benefit from a service counter in front of house but bells on door seemed to work. Atmosphere was a little bright. Beautiful food, great price.

My girlfriend and I decided to tempt ourselves with all the delights that India could bring to bear on our sensitive palletes. We took a chance on a wishing well. The service was slow at first on a quiet monday night but after we met with our waiter he was humble, non intrusive and careful.

Complimentary papadams with side sauces whilst we decided on our dishes set the tone for the evening's culinary prowess. The tandoori chicken entree came sizzling on a plate and was full flavoured with tender quality chicken (make sure you ask for the cucumber yoghurt to go with it). Main courses of Rogan Josh and Butter Chicken were sensational, with large portion size and helpful waiting tips that guided us to the correct dish sizes and flavour compliments.

Excellent dining experience. Must try.

We went here for the second time after a takeaway experience that really impressed us. It was no surprise that we were even more impressed.

The food was fantastic - Butter chicken was creamy and authentic, and Dal and Kofta (according to my Indian Vegetarian friend) was one of the best she has tasted. The Naan was well made too - not thin and crispy, but thick and chewy. Must admit the Tandoori platter wasn't anything special, but the quantity was impressive.

The service is also exceptional - when I picked up my takeaway, I had a short chat to one of the waiters, and he remembered me by name and asked how my holiday was! They were attentive and polite, even to my picking vegetarian friend.

The restaurant isn't in the best location with a very average decor, but that Indian Bollywood music adds a little more flavour. The price tag is also very reasonable -$11 for Butter Chicken, and $10 for most vege curries.

My two chips : Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in the area, highly recommend the critics to visit.
