I love this place. Currently living overseas and get back to Melbourne about once a year, yet this is the only restaurant I book! Family cooking, very friendly service, relaxed but not smart ambience. Adore it!

This is my second visit to this restaurant and again I cannot fault the food! No menu means no decisions, but you just keep eating! The place is a little noisy, however, that just adds to the ambience. Extremely good value and you don't leave hungry. Would recommend this place to everyone. Thanks again for a great dining experience.

We have been going to White Village for the past 15 years and keep going back. Kosta is always so cheery and makes returning customers welcome. The food is not fine dining Greek, but more taverna style that you get on Santorini. Best dishes are the saganaki, and prawns, and if you are lucky, mousakka will be available. There is no menu, you get what is fresh on the day.

The perfect Greek Taverna experience. The food is absolutely delicious. Who can say no to the octopus and saganaki! The service is a little slow at times but Kostas the head waiter makes up for it, with his ability to always make customers feel like they count! He has yet to forget a name which is very impressive.

I had never been to a Greek restaurant before and hearing they have no menu was a little reluctant. Go straight for the banquet and leave heartily satisfied from a delicious meal at a reasonable price (around $35-40 I recall). Despite it being very busy and full and a general lack of waiters, we were not without attention or food on the table for long. Highly recommended!

Costas and his family do an outstanding job here. In dining here on and off for 10 years I can not recall a bad meal. The food is always tasty and fresh and words fail to describe the calamari. I recently returned with the family after being away for 18 mths and it was as if we had eaten there last week. Sure the service can be a bit slow when it is busy, but this is all part of the charm. Without doubt the best Greek restaurant in Melb.

Sensational food, and the novelty and wholesomeness of no menus feels like you're dining at your friends mum's house. Go with their recommendations and you'll be delighted. Beautiful, authentic Greek food made and shared with love. Great for families, friends, work colleagues and lovers - all will enjoy. Expensive but worth it. A special little gem indeed!

The octopus was tender & a generous serve, the yiro lamb was exellent, tender , tasty - perfect. The stuffed tomatoes & the vegetable briam were like home made food. The waiter was very friendly & helpful. When you walk in, the aromas remind you of lunching at your mums on weekends. I will be coming back for sure.

The food is good. The place is clean. My wife and I had their banquet, that has been describe in other reviews. My problem was the service. We received the dips and bread within 5 minutes, then we waited and waited and waited. All of a sudden, 3 more dishes came (their whitebait is excellent), then we waited and waited and waited. After a couple of hours, I was not prepared to wait any longer for the main course, so we paid and left.

The food is good, but I wouldn't go back on a Friday or Saturday night. This is why I have scored the Value as mediocre, because I value my time.
