What a great find the Watermark is. The venue is right on the water at Victoria Harbour, modern premises with fantastic food, great service and a location second to none. My friends and I will make this a regular haunt in the future for sure. Thanks for a great evening.

I took some clients to Watermark to thank them for their continued business and support throughout the year. We started with a lovely bottle of French Bubbly followed by shared starters, delicious mains and desserts to die for. The staff were very attention, food and atmosphere were great, and best of all, clients were impressed and enjoyed the evening immensely. Thanks for a great evening.

I have recently had drinks and dined at Watermark and think that the new owners have done an incredible job in revamping the venue. The atmosphere in the place is pumping on Thursday and Friday for after work drinks, and if you want a nice dining experience, hang around to dine in the restaurant and listen to some good quality jazz.

All in all a very good experience that I would recommend to friends and family. Keep up the good work guys, this place will appeal to both local workers and residents.

Went to Watermark for a working lunch. Really enjoyed the food and the location is fantastic. Friends who work close by have made it their local for after work drinks. Hoping to return for dinner sometime soon.

The new Management is great. A big improvement of late. I was a bit wary dining the first time after reading some of those other older reviews, but the place was under different managers/owners or something then. Highlights are the 2 for 1 drinks on a Friday arvo and all the members benefits. I work in the city so it's a great spot to head after work. Have dined there about 4 times and has been lovely every time. Friendly staff. Def worth a look.

My husband and I recently ate at Watermark and were extremely impressed. I had heard that they had a new chef so was keen to check it out. Our meals certainly didn't disappoint. I had the Salmon fillet which was cooked to perfection and my husband had the chicken parma (which he has everywhere) and he absolutely loved it. Finally a place to get a great meal in Docklands, we'll be back!

Ok, we all work at Docklands. It is coming along nicely with the landscaping, the weather is lovely in Spring, but....and here is the but. The places are awful to have lunch at. This is the second time we have eaten, a small group of 6, at Watermark. We went in the first few months, joined up to their loyalty card, meals were plain but acceptable value.

Now it has gone seriously backwards in every regard. The Watermark members card gets nothing at all, no discount, no notification of special things on. Why bother having something, which by their own admission, they hadn't "sorted out" what it was for, over a year later? The meals. Appalling. They have 6 things of for lunch specials. My own $12.90 curry was so small I finished it and had to come back to buy something else to eat immediately.

Friends ordered from the main menu and paid $24 for their main meals and were equally unimpressed. If you want to know portion size, I guess that one chicken fillet had been used for nearly 5 meals. Finally, the drinks. I couldn't get a cider, I suppose that isn't terrible, but when we asked about soft drinks, we were told that they only had bottled water and Lift. It is a bar for goodness sake! Ok, one last rant.

A particular white wine was ordered by 4 people, partly due to the lower price. When the bill came, their wine wasn't available and the staff had substituted with a more expensive wine but they hadn't told the people, just popped it on the bill. Crafty isn't it.

Won't ever be recommending it or going back. They don't deserve the crowds there, just nowhere for us office workers to get food being so far from anything in Docklands.

Have lunch there every week or so and if I have to organise a work lunch for a new client its always my first choice, beautiful surroundings, comfortable, excellent services and the by far the most reasonable prices in that area.

I'm not sure I am doing this place justice as I had only a main meal at my recent lunch there. But I guess if they cannot get that right then chances are they don't get the rest right.

First of all, great location and view...or it would have been had they not built an outdoor drinking area in the middle of the view. So instead of looking out on the Docklands Harbour, you look out on this giant glass and plastic drinking area.

The service was appropriately casual and friendly but totally unprofessional, well that's not the word I'm looking for really, more totally inexperienced. The room itself is a nice mix of modern bistro and sharp bar.

The food is I suppose "Australian Bistro"...steaks, calamari, parmas etc. I ordered the parma mainly because I was hungry and only had time for one course. I am not sure how they could cook a parma like this, I think you'd actually have to try quite hard to stuff it up as badly as it was...soggy, soggy crumbs, dry chicken, lying on a bed of even soggier chips...it was seriously like eating cardboard that had been soaked in oil for a day or two.

My dining companions looked like they fared a little bit better and the place was pretty well patronised so maybe I just ordered the worst meal on the menu or maybe down this end of town people just have no where else to go, and it really does not matter what you serve them.
