The food was not too bad, though the drinks menu is not extensive. If you cannot handle the mains coming before the entree, don't come here. The meals of you and your friends also may come out at different times. The service was okay. The only thing I didn't like was sitting so close to the people next to you and the hard wooden seats are uncomfortable.

As an asian, this place is horrible. sometimes I crave for soup noodle and try that restaurant in chadstone and st kilda. Didn't even know why I would give it a 2nd chance, felt sorry about it. Soup was tasteless, ingredients doesn't go with each other, meat are not fresh, not marinate enough time, combination is, I don't want to use the word crap but it just doesn't work.

I understand they are trying to do fusion. But when the basic foundation is not set, please don't try something new. It's like drawing, if one can't draw a sketch, please don't do abstract. It's absolutely a waste of money, and hope those who haven't try real japanese/chinese soup noodle, don't go to this place otherwise will be scare of that idea from now on.

Places like this really gets me mad. They deceive people with a Japanese name but totally misrepresents the Japanese cuisine! I am Japanese so I hate to imagine people who have not experienced good authentic Japanese food eating here and thinking this is what Japanese food is! It is also totally over priced.

This place is seriously overrated. Extremely disappointed for my first visit. We ordered 2 mains and an entree. The entree came out well after our mains, and they didn't taste anything like what we expected. They were supposed to be fried prawn dumplings, but there was NO prawn found inside, it was fully minced up. Beats the purpose of wanting to eat prawn dumpling if you ask me.

Mains I ordered a chicken stir fried noodle and I found ONE piece of chicken. Other main was a rice dish which was drenched in some sort of gooey sauce. For $20 for a main, it was a complete waste of money. Will never be going back to any Wagamama.
