    Service is fine for a pub - you order at the counter. But the staff are happy to play along and fire off a recommendation.

    Ambiance is a bit busy, tight and loud, but it's a pub and it's got a good pub grub vibe. Prices are great and the food, although pub fare, is very good. I really enjoy the fish and chips there, the parmas are great too, and one pasta dish was surprising cooked to perfection and was rich and tasty.

    But do not order from the specials menu. We have had a couple of misses - especially the fisherman's basket. It's busy most nights so either arrive early or be prepared to wait. Good fun and well priced.

    Best pub grub in Melbourne. We have eaten here at least 5 times and have never been disappointed. Meals are huge, great value and taste great. I highly recommend the parma's however I have tried quite a few other things and all were fantastic.
