Gorgeous crispy tortilla cigars! tightly rolled up around a filling of black bean pilled on top with avocado, cheese, salsa, salad and lime. The side salad is crunchy, fruity and nutty with pimentos, raisons and what looks like dried beetroot chards, so lovely!.

Best lunch on Smith Street, the mixed burrito (bean and tofu) is amazing, have visited countless times and yet to be disappointed, everyone I know who has eaten here has returned, veg and non veg alike.

Wow! Absolutely out-of-this-world Vege/Vegan Mexican food! The Tofu Burritos and the Bean Taquitos are to die for! This place is a new discovery for us but we've been there regularly ever since! Service is great and pricing is super cheap! What more could you want? I wonder if my partner would mind swinging past there on his way home from work tonight?! Yum!

The food was fairly good (we tried the bean burritos, tofu tacos, taquitoes, chocolate taquitoes) and very good value! I must admit we all thought it was slightly strange that the burritos come in a bag rather than on a plate when dining in, though it is informal dining and it is cheap.

Unfortunately, the staff were not friendly at all! Not one smile the whole night, except when they were talking to each other while I was waiting to order. Also they forgot the soy cheese on one dish and gave us cheese containing rennet. We just scraped it off and didn't want to say anything at the time as they were a bit unapproachable! One of the staff almost bowled me over rushing down the thin corridor and it would have been polite for her to let me by or at least excuse herself rather than pushing past me.

The food took about half an hour to come but we didn't mind because they did look quite busy. Having said all that though I would go back for the taquitoes (so good) and hope the unfriendly service was a once off event (especially considering the other good reviews on here).

Let me first say I'm not a vegetarian, so my review is coming from a different place than others. The food here is fresh and cheaper than other Mexican places in Melbourne but we have so few. But I thought the place was small and crowded. The kitchen, however, was fast and the food and beer menu are great. But the beans just didn't cut it with my tastes. Next time I need a mexican fix, I'll go somewhere ele.

Fast and nice service, kind of tucked away at the city end of Smith Street, very cheap. I had a bean burrito, and while the beans could have been more flavorsome, the salad was lovely and crunchy, and the tortilla wrap was great! For $7 or $8 I was full and I went in hungry, had the Spanish Hot Choc too which was spiced and good, good value for a quick cheap healthy take away, Ya!

Melbournes most amazing mexican, especially because it's vegetarian! The staff are very friendly and the food is great. You can specify if you don't want your food spicy and you can even order take-away. The only downside is that sometimes they're really busy and there's not too much seating because it's quite small. Tofu burrito is amazing and their black bean tacos with soy cheese really are perfect. Tastiest vegan meal I've had in a very long time. Did I mention they're cheap?

This place is the most fresh, fantastic, and reasonably priced Mexican food I've found in the Melbourne area. Everything is vegetarian and there's vegan options, and cheap! No more paying $17-$20 for a burrito! Great selection of Mexican beers, breakfasts, and desserts as well. The seating area is small and there's a few tables outside, so I try to go during non-peak times or get takeaway. Friendly staff and amazing food make this my favourite!
