We loved this gorgeous restaurant. Friendly staff, great food and ambience.

Touks is a nice place, outstanding service and quick. But like a lot of restaurants serving that menu at that price, it's very mediocre but satisfactory. I enjoyed my relaxed dining there.

I stumbled across this restaurant / bar with a friend and we were pleasantly impressed.

It has a pleasant ambience across decor, spacing of tables and accoustics. This gives the restaurant an easy going, relaxed feel and it also goes well with the neighbourhood.

The menu is terrific. So many choices and they all sound so appetising. You must try the twice cooked pork belly and the marinara pasta!

We thanked the chef on our way out. Top job.

Note: I have heard that the restaurant has changed hands and they may now have new owners. Fingers crossed that the new owners remain with the same food fare.

I have eaten here on numerous occasions. I'm a good cook and seldom find a restaurant that satisfies my criteria "the food is as good or better than I can cook myself"! The food at Touks is great value for money. Particularly the meat and fish dishes. I bought a friend who is a chef, she rated the marinara as the best she'd ever had. And they make irresistible desserts.

Finally Carole keeps a wonderful cellar. I always ask for a recommendation and am totally besotted (no pun intended) with the Sorrenberg Gamay. Great food interesting wine and terrific value.

I go to Touk's every saturday for breakkie. The food is great and the service quite efficient. My favourite dish are the sweet corn fritters. They're probably the best I've had out of all the breakfast places I have been to. My only complaint is that the serving size is a tad small!

Very family friendly place and quite pleasant on weekends. If you want to beat the morning rush, it's best to get there about 10:30. Most of the families have left by then.

Yarraville seems to get the crowds and plaudits, but if neighbouring Seddon produces more eateries like Touks, there could well be some serious competition for customers between these two inner western suburban locations.

The food selection, whilst not vast, caters for a niche market, and that seems to be a strength. Their paella is very tasty and seems to be one of the best value meals available, followed closely by the chicken. Although the meals may seem a little extravagant compared to other restaurants, what makes for a great venue is the service. The staff are pleasant and well-versed and do what they can to make guests feel at home.

The only disappointment is the number of wines available for purchase by the glass, it definitely needs to allow for rose to be purchased by the glass too. Having said that, such a matter should not be a detraction from this place, and Touks is well worth the visit.

I love coming here. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and lots of space. Love the pastas's and pizza, the rabbit is mouth watering and I think it is very good value. What let's it down is the service which is ever changing and inconsistent, the staff seem to change often and often seem lost (though they are always friendly).

We went here on a Tuesday evening on the offchance of getting a table. They were packed out and it was noisy but we were told we could have a table in 30 minutes. The manager even took our mobile number and said he'd ring us if a table became available sooner, which he did.

The menu is just different enough to be interesting without being so different you don't know what anything is. The staff were not just attentive but also knowledgeable which makes a welcome change these days. While the food was a little overpiced it was wonderful. Good quality and good sized portions. We will definitely go back and next time we'll be sure to book.

Food is very tasty although the prices are extremely high for a cafe style atmosphere. Staff are very attentive. I would not revisit nor recommend this restaurant again. 5 beers, 2 entrees, 4 mains and 4 desserts were 189.00.

Always had good food here, not great. Staff are friendly. Great on a balmy evening. We like it a lot. We don't regard it as really great value but it's ok.
