This pizza is worth travelling down from Sydney for! Very generous toppings & sizing, I recommend a small size each if you're having starters. We had beautiful oysters here too, plump & fresh - served with lemon & vinegarette & the price was very reasonable too, the only draw back was the lack of air conditioning in the restaurant on a hot day, which was eventually put on, the staff are lovely here & it's still very popular with the locals, we would definitely return on our next trip to Melbourne.

A nice restaurant with a great atmosphere and good pizza. Good but not great food but still value for a fun night out in StKilda.

I love this place. The pizza is amazing and cocktails even better! Its a bit more expensive than your average pizza night but so worth it.

Best mushroom pizza ever. They do business until late and it's worth the walk up fitzroy street to sit and eat. Staff are ok (usually international backpackers) and their super cheese pizza is amazing. A bit more expensive than a walk-in-walk-out pizza place, but worth it, it feels expensive inside. I will share a large mushroom pizza with a friend and be plenty full. Love this place and will always come back.

I went to this restaurant on Thursday 11 February with my husband and 2 friends based on a recommendation from people we had met overseas. It was a great experience with great pizzas (so much topping but still a crispy base) and attentive service. Will definitely be back next time we're in Melbourne and would recommend to anyone.

Just got home (Sydney) from working over the weekend in Melbourne. Topolino's is just amazing. The service, the prices and most of all, the quality of the food is brilliant, perfectly prepared thin crusts, quality tomato sauce and cheese, an absolute must for a pizza base. The veal dishes?, brilliant, St Kilda, thank you! and in particular, Topolino's, thank you!. Just one thing, please don't offer a Thai beef salad on such a brilliant authentic Italian menu. It's just wrong, hehehe.

Had just a few days in Melbourne, during a month's tour of Oz in June '09, but visited Topolinos for virtually every evening meal, excellent pizzas, well kept beer, friendly helpful waiting staff, and was very easy on the wallet. Also very close to tram stops and other shops/bars in central Saint Kilda. Highly recommended!

I was here on Saturday evening 2009-5-2. We shared two small gourmet vegetarian pizza (called Amore and Nonna). These did truly deserve the adjective "gourmet". They were very tasty indeed, although the very thin pizza base was burnt black in places. The mug of hot chocolate was not what I would call big. But it was certainly interesting to drink. So foodwise, this was a good place.

This restaurant is quite large, with a range of seating configurations and nooks and crannies to sit in. The street is interesting, and parking nearby is not too difficult to find. The staff were attentive, sometimes just a little bit too attentive. And they seemed to be quite enthusiastic for us to leave when we had stopped buying food, wine and hot chocolate.

So I would not recommend this place for a long, relaxed chat. The prices were a little on the high side. The noise levels were quite high, but not intolerable. But that would have been different if there had been more people there.

First and last time I will visit this restaurant. It was not busy so I don't understand why we had to seat our selves. Food was average and took longer than normal to be served. Never again.
