Very pleasant lunch venue, chilli tiger prawns outstanding, excellent service. Our table was very close to the front bar, which was a little noisy. Definitely go back.

Great seafood prepared in many styles. Highlights were honey moreton bay bug tails, whitebait fritters and chilli tiger prawns. Scallops and sardines were lovely, snapper and lobster croquettes the only disappointment (not that they were terrible just not as good as the other dishes) and when an errant hair was found in our king george whiting it was immediately taken off the bill without even asking.
Service was enthusiastic and friendly. A bit noisy, mainly due to a couple of female hyenas at the next table. An enjoyable special occasion restaurant, we will return.

Very good menu, food, wine & service.
Good Quantity, but is a bit pricey for a Pub.
Yes for a special occasion, I would go back. Also because I love the seafood chowder.

We have friends from Sydney who really love this place. They always request we go there, the foods great, with long serving and friendly waiters. The ambience is excellent for a small pub, with an open fireplace for winter, and really interesting old worldly service including the white tablecloths and nice glasses and cutlery. All this makes for a fun, quiet and relaxing night. Being able to hear your friends talk is a bonus.
