We used to go every 8 months or so, in the vain hope that the male manager there might have moved on. Finally he's gone! The difference in atmosphere, staff morale, service, and enjoyment in going is dramatic!

We now visit approx. once a fortnight, often with our two dogs. We are always made to feel welcome, the service has improved vastly, the food has always been pretty good but now it is consistently very good to excellent. They are now more than happy to adapt any of their offerings to suit (a great change from the set ways of the long-gone gumby manager that seemed to have no experience of any sort of customer service whatsoever).

Once or twice the service has been average recently, but in general it is top notch, with the staff far happier in general & therefore able to provide a genuinely pleasant aura about the place.

Finally they are getting it right. Bald guy has left the building - I'm glad the owner realized the damage that guy did to his business. Family friendly now, new menu - food is well presented, tastes great. Staff all seem happy and the vibe has changed. We love the coffee - so much smoother than that terrible bitter stuff they used to have.

I have been to The Cafe many times. That Cafe` offers a reasonable variety of food and it is of a decent quality. Breakfast is available all day, pastas, risotto and other cafe food is on the menu.

That Cafe has a lot of space and would be well suited to families if it wasn't for the fact that they are made to feel quite unwelcome. I am currently on maternity leave and was meeting 3 other mothers and their babies at the cafe and the senior staff told one of the mothers that there wasn't enough room for her pram and that we were driving customers away. Given there were only another 8 customers in the cafe apart from us, I don't think he should have been so rude to 25% of his customer base.

The service at That Cafe` has always been very average but I thought this was the worst service I've ever experienced. I won't be going back. Also the coffee is terrible.
