Overpriced menu for less serving. We would rather travel to Springvale where you can find good value for your bucks. Service is below standard (no courtesy and does not even smile). Business owners have need to learn to accommodate their patrons with utmost cheerful attitude. Food is not that delicious, there are better out there.

I have just come back from having dinner at Thao Thao and thought it was beautiful, it was a little bit packed and a little hit noisy, but the food was excellent, tasty and very fresh, service was was fine, would recommend it for sure.

We had a work do here. The food was lovely but the service was the worst I've ever experienced. We were told we could Only have banquet meals due to them being too busy. We were crammed in like sardines with the tables so close together it is actually a safety issue. To my amazement I actually had bruises on my thighs from trying to squeeze between tables.

The food was very good, however. We also had to pass down all of our plates etc as even the service staff could not squeeze between tables. I would not go back nor recommend the restaurant until they get more staff, friendlier staff (no need to bark at clients) and generally coordinate themselves better. What kind of restaurant tells you can only have one type of meal?

As a local, we visit Thao Thao on a regular basis and it never disappoints. Even when it gets extremely busy and loud, service is always efficient and food very tasty. Fantastic Value.

I have recently moved to Hampton Park from Springvale and have had take away from Thao Thao twice, both were very disappointing. The first time was when I ordered crispy chicken with rice, I asked for Red rice but they said they don't do red rice, which Vietnamese restaurant does not do red rice?

The chicken wasn't cook that well and was quite a small portion. The pork chop from this restaurant is disappointing, I would rather travel all the way to Springvale and back for pork chops. They didn't add any sweet chilli sauce in a container. Yummm... plain pork chops.

Went to Thao Thao to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Food was delicious. We were accompanied by our 11 year old and 14 year old, both thought the food was fantastic. Service was good, and food was great, highly recommend the lettuce cups. Went to this restaurant on recommendation by work mates. Can't wait to go back again. Would highly recommend. Thank you for making our night.

Been there numerous times - but food is very bland - always the same. Is very squashed in at weekends and very noisy. Service not good enough. Some nights can be enjoyable but never consistent. Service needs to be friendlier by one owner who serves tables - never consistent. The food is fresh, but needs more flavour.

We dine here regularly, sometimes just the two of us, and can be up to 10 people, sometimes more. Always find Thao Thao good value for money, the food of a consistently good standard. If we feel like a lot of chilli go for it, however, if not, the staff are very happy to adjust to medium or mild. Very impressed that the staff always remember my husband has a peanut allergy.

We find the staff are great. It can be noisy, but thats part of the experience, it reminds me of eating in Asia where there are often family groups having a good time. If we can't decide what to order, the staff are always ready with some good recommendations and we have never been disappointed. Have been dining here for about 6 years now and usually have all our important family dinners here. We love it!

This tiny little restaurant is quite surprising. I've been there twice, the first time as a work function dinner and the second with a close friend. The first time we went there, food was a little slow to be served, but it was very busy. It's a cosy restaurant, the food is delicious and filling and the staff are really friendly. I definitely recommend this place!
