    We hadn't been to Thai Thai for a while and recently decided to get some takeaway. I can only assume they have a new chef, and the prognosis is not good.

    We ordered a red curry and the flavours were all wrong. It was far too creamy, too sour, and had none of the heat you'd normally expect from a curry.

    Our calamari salad was wanting in flavour, seemed watery, and again lacked any of the heat that a good Thai salad ought to have.

    The restaurant was packed with Western customers; I do hope they haven't watered down the flavours to cater to a Western palate.

    After this experience we probably won't return.

    We were very impressed with our Sunday night dinner at Thai Thai. The highlights were deep fried fish (barramundi) in sweet and sour chilli sauce, beef massaman curry, chicken panang curry. All were very tasty without being too rich. The place was packed so make a booking. The service was good, and the price was reasonable for this quality.
