A typical average quality cafe style eatery, but loved the seaside ambience complete with hanging seaweed light fittings and fishing pole rafters. Too many international students/backpackers on the staff losing credibility, but I guess it is a touristy venue after all.
Great location and nice to sit outside and watch sunset. Ordered the seafood combo plater. Very big portion and a lot of it was quite good - but the octopus was nothing short of burned. I asked if it was always served like this and was told yes!!
Go for a drink. Oh - and it took no less than 47 mins from when we finished our meal for it to be taken away - I know this becase we timed it!
Generally mediocre, I am a local and often consider this place more of a touristy venue than one to go to when you want a good meal. Nothing that stood out as extraordinarily bad but also nothing that good. Service was awkward.
The waiters substituted a higher priced wine for that which is ordered without telling. Twice. Nachos on a menu should not constitute heated corn chips with 3 dips, management very defensive when questioned as to why meals are average. I understand that it is a tourist venue but that doesn't mean that quality should suffer. Large numbers of staff are good but if the majority are foreign students, it is difficult to get satisfaction.
