Wow, hasn't this place gone down hill. It used to be a good place to get a tasty curry with friendly service.

We went a few weeks ago and the only table they had left was one that they stupidly put on a small "stage" in the middle of the restaurant. It was almost a foot high and with four seats at the table, you had to sit with your chin on the table otherwise your chair would fall off the stage. This was obviously uncomfortable and it wasn't long before one of our group naturally tried to move back and ended up falling back of the stage.

They ended up with a huge bruise down their back and even though the staff saw it happen, not one came to ask if they were ok. The curries were terrible also.
After this I decided to give tandoori times a miss for a while until we felt like delivery curry so gave them another chance. Their new system of ordering online as opposed to recognising that you exist by allowing you to order over the phone, helps guarantee that your order will be late.

After over an hour of waiting for our delivery we called them to be told that they had only just received our order. Even though it was written down, they still got part of the order wrong. We finally got our meal after almost two hours only to find the curries aren't what they used to be. They were boring, flavourless and the meat was chewy. This place used to be good-don't bother any more. Bad food, bad service.

Horribly Awful, place is not good, cutlery is not clean, the senior staff has an attitude problem. He cannot hear a No or a different opinion from the customers, shows on his service when complained about quality. Totally an avoidable place.

Good range of dishes, nicely prepared. We liked the bhurwa mushrooms and prawn malabari in particular. Prices are very reasonable, but if you order the banquet, you may find you get more than you need (including lots of bread and rice). Helpful and friendly service. Fairly basic wine list but you can BYO.

This is St.Kilda residents little secret, cheap great Indian food. Limited wine list, you can't beat Kingfisher beer whilst eating Indian Food. Watch Bollywood Movies whilst waiting for your food. A great friendly place to have a quick cheap meal and drink. No need to book during the week. Highly Recommend.
