I was overcharged $7.50. The staff person added my bill twice and still came to the same amount. I had previously totaled the bill and was fully aware of the rip off. Instead of complaining I will protest by never eating there again.

Congratulations has to go to the owners and staff of Taj Agra in Ringwood. This is by far the best place in Melbourne for consistently good indian food. The only down side is that every where else you go is disappointing! Well done, we have parties, work do's, birthdays, dinner for two. You name it. We have been going for 13 years and am looking forward to the next 13 and more! In fact I think I might get takeaway tonight. I drive from Bayswater to Ringwood just to get their takeaway, isn't that saying something.

Arrived 6.30 pm ordered within 5 minutes. Meal very good. Would certainly book to go in the future.

Went twice. First time great, spices, flavours wonderful. Second time average with beef vindaloo almost inedible due to saltiness, reason, advised chefs sometimes change.

Have eaten at this restaurant numerous times. We have yet to find a Lamb Sagwala that beats Taj Agras. Service is often slow but the meals always arrive quickly once served. Variety in the menu is extensive, plenty of choice. The prices are more than reasonable, no increase in prices in at least 5 years. Also do take away and BYO. This is an exceptional Indian restaurant, should be rated No 1 in Age Good food guide in its class. Highly recommended.

Doncaster restaurant is fantastic, meal is fantastic and the service is second to none. Tucked away in Jackson court they are a little unexposed, but the locals know it. The manager and staff there will bend over backwards for you. We have been going there for just over 2 years and have never had a bad meal.

This restaurant is our family favourite and we have been going for fourteen years. The surroundings are immaculate in cleanliness and the decor gives any customer a feeling of what it may be like to be dining in a city like Mumbai, India. In fact, we were much disappointed with the food we had in India and discovered that we did not come across food that was of the same quality that we had tasted in Taj Agra.

The brass Indian idols, wall paintings and hanging roof top patchwork materials look very exotic. The staff and service are great. Make sure you book early on saturday nights as well as on any other national celebrations because they do get quite busy and have a large number of happy clientele.

Clearly a local favorite, this place has great service and good food. Servings are reasonable size and it is a nice place to dine in. It is always really busy.

Really lovely restaurant, the food was really good and tasty, probably the nicest Indian food in Ringwood. We found the service a little slow, we were seated promptly then they went away and we weren't asked if we wanted a drink. After the meal, we finished our drinks and looked around for the chq/service and no-one noticed. My partner then stood waiting at the till for a couple of minutes before anyone realised he was there!! It wasn't very busy either. Apart from that, a really nice restaurant though if they improved on those little things it'd be an awesome restaurant.
