Live in Sydney and travel to Melbourne on a regular basis and always call in for a top up of Mexican. I been to many mexican restaurants here, the US and mexico and I can't say I've had better. Do yourself a favour and try nachos and the fajitas washed down with a madori margarita. Fantastic.

I absolutely adore this place! I've visited on many occasions and have never once been disappointed. The staff are overall friendly, and the service is quite prompt, unless it's a busy night, then it can take a little wait to be served. I love the place so much I had my 21st here, and the staff were great, although there were a few little mistakes with drink orders but then, they were catering to 20 or so people plus a full house. We were also awarded with free sombreros!

Food is always delicious, very satisfying and excellent value, around $15-$25.
Atmosphere is great, nice surroundings, but pretty laid-back. Definitely recommended!

Everytime I been here in past the waiting staff were always disappointing. Why would you bother eating pre frozen food microwaved. Yes I know I've been few times, this was to make little people happy. Don't bother but I understand the margas are good, I guess after a dozen alcho drinks they all taste good.

Good mexican! You must get a fishbowl cocktail, they are around $30-$40 but worth it! And you get a free sombraro! Appetisers are better value than the mains.

Great atmosphere and service. Lunch menu good prices and good size. Owner is friendly and offers great deals throughout the week. Will go back again.

Honestly the most appalling service we have ever had in Melbourne - TWICE! Went there about 6 months ago and had bad service, figured it may be a once-off so gave it another try recently and the service was even worse than the first time.

Waitress was completely disinterested, we had to ASK for service at every stage i.e. can we please order drinks? can we please order our meals? can we please have some cutlery? can we PLEASE get the bill and leave?! etc etc. The food is okay but the "gold tequila" (not me thinks) margheritas are tasteless apart from the cordial they use to make them, neither of which really matter because it's so hard to get past the monumentally bad service.

I have been going to this restaurant for nearly 18 years! (I was a teen!!!) It is my favourite restaurant in Melbourne. The owner's presence make it a warm and inviting place, great decor and the margarita's are fantastic. Try the Fajita's, they are great.
