I reluctantly went along to this place for dinner.

It is shabby, as if staff don't know (or care) about how to keep a place spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly, but really didn't know about customer service, or even ordinary serving skills. Getting 4 plates to 4 people at a square table needn't be a collaborative effort.

The food must largely be pre-prepared or from a packet The salsa was most definitely from a jar! So we have packaged food, way too sweet and salty/chemically (processed) and rookie staff. It really was like making Mexican at home with old El Paso ingredients, but then serving it in a mock Cantina. Fast food parading as a restaurant, with poorly trained staff there to make the experience less intimidating for the masses who can assuage their guilt at someone serving them by actually having to pitch in and help.

Now I wouldn't mind any of this if the price was reasonable. But for what we paid we could easily have had real Mexican food, cooked by a chef, prepared on site, and been able to write a rave review. Alas, marketing and sugar addictions have won out in this sorry place.
