Very average. $25 for a dry tasteless parma. Don't bother.

Great soups, kids love the food and the atmosphere and the food is generally good. Great place for kids lots of space to run around, food is good value.

Room was freezing cold, Reverse AC could not warm it even at "flat out". Food in the Bistro was below average at an above average cost. Couldn't find anyone in the morning to hand our key back. Now I know why they insisted on a $20 bond for the key! Possible the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. They didn't answer any e mails after either.

A very tired looking pub both internally and externally. Old world charm is one thing but old fashioned and tacky is another. The venue has an odd layout of different dining rooms old yet pleasant at the front, old and disappointing in the middle near the kitchen and bar area and new at the rear. Unsure why when renovations completed to the rear the entire pub wasn't made over.

All tables had salt and pepper shakers straight from the supermaket shelf and what appeared to be olive oil and balsamic vinegar in old reused corona beer bottle stubbie bottles ready for use, very classy. Not. Waiter staff pounded the floating floor boards delivering meals to other tables and you could literally feel the floor vibrate thru your chair as they did.

The menu was wide and varied though presented in a canteen style laminated handout which was duplicated in cheap chalk at the bistro counter. Upon ordering drinks at the bar I requested a wine list. Not available here, just simply choose a wine from one of the bottles on display. Unfortunately, for me at this hotel did not house a straight Chardonnay by the glass, strange given its proximity to the Red Hill Winery district.

Overall this was really disappointing.

A big barn of a pub with average pub fare but great position across the road from beach. Had a pleasant lunch at a window table with sea views. Value is the name of the game and on that score it performs well.

This is a pub and that is it. 4 fellas had 4 different meals and they were very very poor. For $16 the parma, (the easiest pub meal in the world) was....... very hard to describe. Do not recommend this place at all.
