We have eaten here twice. Last week MM had scallopine saltimboca - a generous serve of tender, tasty veal with a delicious sauce and some potato. I had lamb cutlets - four dainty cutlets, rare in the middle with delicious caramelisation without, with some tender potato and baby spinach. I picked up the cutlets to devour the sweet meat near the bon e (this is why cutlets have handles).

We had a bottle of Pepperjack shiraz with our meal. Use of Entertainment voucher meant the bill was $78 (full bill would have been $104) for a hearty meal.

A really cool refurb makes this restaurant one of the best looking on fitzroy street , the prices have come down and it has a really affordable wine list . The seafood platter for $120 for two is great value , great covered courtyard at the back if you want to escape from fitzroy street!. Great staff , very friendly.

Walked in on our wedding anniversary back in August. A great decision. Outstanding friendly and fun service. Not sure why you would not have this place on the must revisit list when next in Melbourne. It was a wet and cold night so we chose to eat inside. Would love to be there when it was okay to dine outside. Great night out.

The service has gone down a lot. Whist it looks nicer since the renovations, a lot of the old staff have left. Food isn't that great and it's overpriced. Coffee's are always good & they have an extensive Spirit selection.

Wow - awful. Shared a starter of oysters, only to find one completely putrid. Upon informing the waiter, another waiter returned to set the table in prep for another plate of oysters?!?! Got to tell you that was the last thing I wanted. Still gagging begged for more water. The mains were ok - just ok. Then upon receiving the bill had to ask that they remove the cost of said oysters which after much consultation amongst themselves, they did.

Went there for Valentine's Day, suppose to be a special occasion. Main came out before the starters. Had the seafood platter and the fish (Bream) wasn't even scaled well. After informing the waiter he replaced it with another fish and same thing, fried fish with scales.

Other tables that was there, trying to have a romantic time was destracted by the fact that they had not received their mains after waiting for 1 hour and a half. Not good, not good at all - poor excuse offered and no compensation.

I have never been served by such a rude waiter! He ignored our table for the duration of our meal, did not answer meal related questions - he oozed an attitude that screamed we were an inconvenience. He was pretentious and arrogant - and certainly had no reason to be.

The food was very average (steak was fatty, chicken kiev way too oily!) and finally an incompetent waitress spilt an entire bowl of sweet chilli sauce on me and my friend - it was even in our hair! Our night was spoilt by the waiter in question and other staff - a warning to all my fellow Sydney siders - DO NOT eat here!

Had their signature seafood platter for 2 which wasnt cheap, but was very good. Great people watching place with friendly service.

We went for a friend's 25th and there would of been a good 30+ people there. We were supplied with a $30 meal choice that included 3 huge courses and a champagne on arrival. The service was great, extremely friendly staff and the restaurant was nice as well, allowing you to also sit on Fitzroy St. They looked after our big group good enough to impress me, havn't had service that good before in a while. I do recommend especially for a large function.
