Will not be going back! The management were disgustingly rude. The waitress got the order wrong resulting in our food not coming out together. After trying to raise our concern with the senior staff, he did not bother hearing us out, instead shouted at us and told us never to come back. Well guess what, we won't be! Don't expect good service or politeness from this restaurant.

The food here is delicious and definitely a cut above your average thai restaurant. The menu is large and there are the classic suburban thai restaurant dishes (green chicken curry, hot and sour stir fry etc) but also some more gourmet dishes (crying tiger, son and law eggs, larb gai). The desserts are to die for. I love the concept of a thai restaurant combined with a wine bar.

This is just such a lovely place! Highly recommended. No, its not cheap by local 'burb standards, but my goodness the food is divine!

As with a previous review, good to see something more stylish that your average "cheap n cheerful" but buyer beware corkage is $10 per bottle! My party of six consumed four bottles (2 white, 2 red) without the glasses being changed once! And on later checking my statement, a $10 tip (which I did not authorise) had been "mistakenly" added to my credit card bill.

We love this place, it is in the suburbs and yet we feel like we are in the inner city, slick decor, fantastic food, friendly staff and great wine list. Yes, prices are a bit higher than your average el cheapo thai restaurant, however, this is no average el cheapo restaurant. You get what you pay for. No complaints here! Love the massaman beef with star anise, love the twist on the larp gai. Try it, you won't be sorry.

We ate at Siam 1 after reading about it in the "Cheap Eats". The presentation and quality of food was excellent, however, the meals were small and mains ordered were very hot despite not listing chilli on the menu.

Overall the experience was good, however, not up to expectations as we were expecting a cheap meal. It was $180 for 4 people for entrees and mains, 4 beers and BYO for 2 bottles of wine (BYO was $10 per bottle!).
