Twice I have gone to Serranos with a large group. And twice they have brought out everyones meals at the same time. Fantastic service, great food (a well-done steak that wasn't undercooked or burnt, tough and chewy) and decent prices.

My family goes here on a regular basis. The food and service is always great! Never let down. Prices are great and the waiters/waitress' are kind and very patient. They cater for fussy people as well. Going there tonight with my family! <3

It's a family restaurant that definately needs a facelift. The food is not gourmet cuisine and it's not trying to be, but it's a nice place to get a good home cooked meal with decent portion sizes. You can't beat the value for money. I thoroughly enjoy my meal everytime we go there. You get what you pay for maybe more.

We had a lunch at Serranos with a large group and it was very disappointing. I have never known a risotto to be made with white long grain rice and the flavor was terrible. The rice was cooked in water and tasted purely of over cooked rice and water. The parmi was also ordered and was also disappointing with processed chicken. Service very average with wait staff sitting on the benches whilst we waited for our tables to be cleared. Would not recommend this place to any one.

I would not recommend this place. It is far too hit and miss. Last time we went there, I ordered a caesar salad from a waitress who could only be described as downright surly. When it came, it was maybe 3 leaves of iceberg lettuce, store brought croutons, half a boiled egg finished with what tasted suspiciously like Kraft fat free caesar dressing and a shake of Parmesan.

When we wished to order drinks, we were blatantly ignored by the staff and not long after the meal we had the check flicked at us by an older woman and told that they were closing and she started to vacuum around us. We were in no way rude or objectionable and I will not be going back anytime soon.

I had the chicken parma for mains. It was enormous and tasted great. The whole dish was great. For dessert I had the strawberry pancakes. It was amazing. Tasted brilliant and the serve was generous. Will be going back.

I went there for my birthday, very busy restaurant, but the service was great, good value for your money very generous serves. The only disappointment was I read on one of the websites that they were BYO when I got there they told me no, and the bruschetta was dry and tasteless.

Great family restaurant. Very generous main portions and the mushroom sauce (for the steaks) is to die for! The mussels were pretty good too. But what impressed us most was the service. We had no idea that they close at 9 pm and took our time with the dessert till 10 pm. None of the staff came around to chase us out nor did they show any signs of frustration. Very polite, very patient. Well done!

Very hit and miss. I have had the best steak with mushoom sauce I have ever eaten in my life there, but I have also had some shockers there too. When it's good, it's Great, when it's bad, it's Shocking! Hope for a good day!
