I was not a fan of this place.
Our group was placed in the back corner, with poor lighting. The rest of the restaurant was illuminated, whilst we were in very dim lighting. It was that dim we couldn't even see the colour of our food.
We were also told they had no gyros meat. How on earth does a Greek Restaurant not have gyros meat! If we had known there was no gyros meat, we wouldn't have eaten there.
They forgot one of our platters, and we had to wait 20 minutes for it to come out, by then nobody wanted any. We were told it was only going to be 5 minutes.
Service was also poor. The food is extremely overpriced, with little value.
We will never return to this restaurant, next time we will go somewhere else, which we know has amazing Greek food and service.

Wasn't a fan of this place, food was pricey and quality was poor. On top of that, the service was pretty bad as well. I wouldn't go back.

Meat was off and still served found hair in bread and prices were ridiculous. Staff paid no attention to what we wanted and served us something completely different. Asked for a kids meal and was told that it can be done then we were charged full price and the senior staff advised that that is the price doesn't matter what size of the meal. Won't be back to the Williamstown restaurant the hawthorn one is much better and worth the drive.

Had lunch here on a Sunday. Three adults and a 17 month old. The service was friendly and the food delicious. The chilli calamari was cooked perfectly. Will be back.

The venue is well presented and initial service was fine, howeve,r the presentation of the entree (Mixed Dips) was disappointing. The main (mixed meat grill) was overcooked and lacked flavour and the pricing was well above the standard of the food. Due to the low standard of the first 2 courses we went elsewhere for dessert.

Simple food done consistently well. Very friendly customer service. Prices could be seen as a little high however very big servings and excellent quality.
Response from Management:

Fantastic little Greek place in the heart of Williamstown, loved the food and service. Our meals were well prepared and the waiters saw to all our needs, also seeing Shane Crawford on the table next to us truly topped the night. Definitely visiting again. A perfect experience.
Response from Management:
Thank you for such great review! Shane Crawford commonly dines with us here at Santorini Restaurant. He was also in the filming of Channel 9 Postcards featuring Santorini, which will be aired on 16 May 2010 @ 5:30PM - Channel 9.

Ate here for my brother's birthday last night. One of our party needed gluten free options, and the restaurant were only too happy to cater for these. Extra little touches which were much appreciated, unasked for bowl of cucumber wedges he could use as dippers for the plate of dips so he could still enjoy them, the front of house explained which dips he could safely enjoy without having to be asked.
Then, he brought out a breadcrumb-free plate of saganaki, on the house, so our gluten free diner could enjoy it too. It's not often this happens, more likely he gets told "oh, you can't have this and you can't have that", there's not always a can-do attitude by restauranteurs in regards to gluten free dining, but there was here.
The food came out at just the right pace, service was very cheerful and friendly, and the servings were hearty, just what I like at a Greek restaurant. Will definitely be back!

Spent new years eve at Santorini Williamstown and had a fantastic dinning experience. Food was fantastic, we were seated at the new front patio area and had amazing views of wonderful Williamstown.

I have dined at Santorini many times and compared to other Greek Restaurants Santorini is by far more expensive. Considering the venue which doesn't seat many people it gets very loud. On average the food could be better as at times has been quite tasteless considering the dishes. Service needs to step it up, too much of a laid back attitude with customers.
