We were exploring the laneways in Melb while on holidays recently and found this little gem. Food amazing, tasty, fresh and just the right amount of spice.
It would be wonderful to have such an offering in Sydney.

Tasty Malaysian fare at prices that are hard to beat. Interior design is only average but you'll probably be too busy eating to notice. Well priced drinks menu.

Tiny restaurant with an upstairs bit. We thought we'd try it. We didn't know much about it beforehand. We were so surprised. Food was fantastic. We started with the roti chanai and beef rendang, roti was so nice. Beef rendang was very tender and flavoursome. Then we had a Nasi Goreng with chicken and salt and pepper squid.. or spicy squid. Can't remember. Nasi Goreng was excellant. Very tasty and spicy and very nicely accompanied with coconut rice.

The service was impersonal, we wrote down our own order on their order slip, but the food came out quickly and swiftly. They even gave water without us having to ask. I'd definitely go back and eat their again.

Like most small capital city Chinatown establishments it is most certainly not fancy with mundane decor. However, the attendant staff were all upbeat and friendly and the service was quite good overall. The food was very, very tasty and at under $30 for 3 courses + soft drinks for two people you cannot go wrong for a quick and hearty Asian feast in the CBD.

A plate of fried noodles is priced at $8.90. Pretty standard. But the amount of noodles on the plate was pathetic. There was 3 of us, and we ordered a dish each. After 20 minutes of waiting (and it wasn't even crowded), our dishes finally came. It took us 10 minutes to finish the few strands of noodles and pieces of chicken. We left still feeling hungry.
