Very good Thai food by Melbourne's standards, though the steamed fish was too firm on one side and appeared to have been recently defrosted/thawed before being prepared.

Short ok winelist with BYO per person. Service a bit vague on a quiet weeknight. Standard 'Aussie Thai' decorations, comfy chairs but the place needs a coat of paint. Otherwise good value.

Royal Siam is my local Thai, but if it were suburbs away I would still go there regularly. The food is always fresh with quality ingredients, the service is prompt and friendly. It's great for takeaway too. The Larp Gai (minced chicken salad) is the best in Melbourne, some nights it can be very spicy, so ask for milder if you are sensitive. The charcoal chicken is also highly recommended.

While parking is a bit of an issue from the front, park in the carpark to the rear and enter by the back stairs (not the most attractive entry), ring the doorbell and you will prompty be shown inside.

I've eaten in and had takeaway a few times and it's always been pretty great, when I've had food delivered the person that brings it has always been a delight. Can't fault this for the consistency and price.

Went there for my birthday on the weekend and the food and service were fabulous. I love good Asian food and would highly recommend this restaurant to others. From the moment we sat down we were given a menu and a glass of ice water and our water glasses were always full for the night.

The food was well spread out so we were always receiving a fresh serving of something. I was surprised at the quality of food and service versus the cost. The only downside really is its location very close to the main kew junction intersection, which doesn't detract from the ambience much as the interior decor is nice.

We ate at Royal Siam Thai last weekend and were every glad we did. We ordered the Tom Yum prawn, vegetarian spring rolls, beef salad, garlic and lemon prawns and beef red curry. Everything was delicious, perfectly tasty and full of Thai flavours. The service was extremely friendly and efficient and the bill for 2 people was about $65. We will definitely be going back and I recommend it.

Yummy food. Try their home made sausages, they are excellent and the sizzling red curry is delicious.

This Thai restaurant is up there with the best Thai we have had in a while. I was pleasantly surprised. They also do a great home delivery service at no extra cost, which is prompt and friendly when you do not feel like leaving the house. The soups are top notch, serving sizes are good, and moderately priced, considering the generous size of dishes. We are now regular customers.
