By chance, I have eaten at 2 Indian restaurants in the area in the last week. Last time I went to Roti Boti was maybe 10 years ago and I was not impressed.
Much better this time but foodwise, not in the same league as Cafe Tandoor just a few doors down the road.

This place has an upmarket interior, it looks good and is a nice room to be in. It is also a busy restaurant so booking on the popular nights is essential. Service is good and you can tell the restaurant has a system in place that has been working well for years.

But, unfortunately, the food does not live up to the packaging. The curries here lack depth. Not to say they are bad, they are about what you expect in Indian restaurants in this city but they don't go beyond that. Come here for the style. Go down the road for the food.

We have been here many times over the last 10 years, and the food has always been great. The renovation looks great and makes Roti Boti look very elegant. It is a great venue for an intimate dinner or a small family gathering. Booking is a good idea as it is a very popular restaurant. The 'drums of heaven' are a magnificent entree and the all the mains are good. We will definitely continue to come here.

This place has it all, quality, ambience, value, consistent. I have been a regular of Roti Boti ever since I went with a work party. They do the common Indian dishes very well. The service is good, especially if it’s provided by the owners vivacious wife. You see, I had this funny thing happen there before I knew she was the owners wife. There was a large all-male group dining on the large 8 seater table by the front window.

When the head waitress went up to serve the table, one of the men started patting her behind. I was aghast at this and couldn’t imagine why this had happened. I then asked the lady and she told me that was her husband and they both own the restaurant. No problem. A couple of suggestions, booking is essential and be prepared to park a good distance away. All in all, a great place to eat.

Nice cosy restaurant, friendly staff. The food was lovely, they have a really strong selection of vegetable dishes, and even though we're usually big meat eaters we went with the veggie dishes on this occasion and weren't disappointed! The Eggplant curry was particularly good. Would definitely go again.

Senior staff were rude, their primary objective was to make everyone order a banquet. We waited 2 hours for our food. Tried to charge us for food that was not ordered. Will never go their again.

An oasis in Hampton! The renovation has given the place a significant face lift.
Not that it need one, however, a real authentic touch and romantic atmosphere offers a truly special dining experience! Everything you could ask of an Indian Restaurant. I highly recommend the specials as there are everlastingly full of flavour. The Mix Sizzling Platter as a starter is to die for!!!! If you haven’t been than you’re missing out on a pleasure of Indian food!!

This was the fifth restaurant we have visited in our "curry tour". It was a Wednesday night, and the restaurant was 3/4 full..a good sign. And to date, this has been our best experience in terms of food and quality. Prices might be a little more expensive than other contemporaries, but the quality of the food and its presentation, in our opinion was very reasonable. The kingfishers and haywoods 5000 were nice and cold. The only constructive criticism we had was that the vindaloo could have been hotter (10/10).

The goat was probably the second best we've had! Outstanding, nice and moist and not at all dry. Gajjar Kheer for dessert balanced-out the mains excellently. A great way to finish off the meal. Highly recommended.

The restaurant was beautiful to look at, almost too classy to be an indian restaurant! However, after hearing the excellent reviews I too was a bit disappointed with the food. I found the curries to be lacking depth of flavour, compared to what I have had elsewhere.

We planned a family night out and Roti Boti was a distinguished choice. Excellent food and the staff were very accommodating . I highly propose this restaurant. We had a wonderful night.
