Absolutely stunning in every sense! Beautiful surrounds, impeccable service from the wait staff and the food was some of the best Chinese I've sampled in the past five years, you just have to try the Peking Duck, Barramundi or the fantastic array of Yum Cha dumplings that they serve at lunch each day. My husband and I have been back three times now and it's one we definitely recommend.

A very nice place to dine in. There are private rooms upstairs and a very nice terrace dining. The place is very clean, you can see the kitchen from where we were seated and it was of a high standard. Their food is of good quality. We had a very tasty and large serving of vermicilli mud crab pot (full of meat). Our palate started dancing the moment the lid was opened and the smell waft around us.

Their sharkfin soup came in a good serving with the sharkfin still retaining it's biteness. The abalone was tender, served whole and again served with a nice broth. The curry chicken we had was different to all those I've tried, it had a nice fragrant to it, but the cauliflower over powered the dish. It would have been a better dish without the cauliflower.

Now comes the dessert. Their dessert are not found commonly in Melbourne, and resembles those found in Hong Kong and other parts of asia. We had egg tart with coconut juice. They didn't use the traditional flakey skin but their skin still provided the crisp and crunch and their filling was smooth and slightly sweet. It worked really well.

With $30 more, we also upgraded our birds nest sweet soup for a blood birds nest and hasma served with red date soup steamed in a whole papaya. We paid just over $100 per person but we had real quality food, value for money. I would come back if ever the occasion called for it or when I feel like eating crabs or abalone.

They are known for NOT using MSG in their food, the food quality is actually pretty good, they have some Chinese dishes that I have not seen anywhere else in Melbourne. It is a little more pricy. On one hand though they are a bit slow with the food, it appears like a better idea to go there and order what you want straight away instead of waiting for the trolleys to come around. The place is also quite nice, unsurprisingly with a really Chinese theme, think gold and red.
