Second time here of really enjoying ourselves my partner had a pizza and I had beautiful seafood pasta. It was busy and had good energy. We really loved the place. Lovely service and helpful with menu. Will be back again soon.

I have still been enjoying this great restaurant. Pizza is fantastic and tastes very close to the one I tried in Italy last year the service is lovely, still my favorite pizzeria! 2011, may.

My husband (who is a chef) and I (whom works in an Italian Restaurant) part time went to Red Olive for pizzas, recommended by friends. Firstly the waitress looked as if she just woke up and her apron was quite dirty. The pizza dough was so gummy (like chewing gum) and hard.

We will definitely not return or recommend the pizzas to our family and friends. The only poisitve feed back is the decor of the restaurant.

Very noisy and busy on a Saturday night. Was not very impressed with the service and they did not even have a glass of Sav Blanc that I could purchase by the glass! We ordered olives as an appetiser and they were very nice and we received more than I expected with bread and eggplants as well. However, we didn't stay past the appetiser.

What a superb Greek restaurant in a surburb! Went there for the first time and am absolutely with the quality of the food and the service provided. Also, the portion of the food is sumptuous and well presented. Will be going back for sure.

Have often wandered past this place, dismissing stopping in for a meal due to its large"bistro-like" decor.

A recent $15 pizza and $5 corkage special lured me in. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza - equal to and in my opinion, above the standard of others in the area (Woodstock, Osteria).

A particular standout - the "Nduja" pizza, comprises finely minced sicilian salami, spanish onion, mozzarella and tomato - a stunningly simple combination.

While the $15 pizzas and $5 corkage are no longer around (corkage is admittedly a little steep at $8), the side dishes (rocket and parmesan, roasted kipflers with pesto and pancetta and others) represent great value at $5.

The place is a bit big and noisy, the waitstaff were certainly busy but not unpleasant. We ordered entrees and a variety of pizzas and pastas and shared between the 6 of us. The starters and pasta dishes were delicious, though I wasn't overly impressed with the pizza. A little pricey for what you get. Definitely have a drink at the bar next door before/after!

It was a cold Saturday evening. We arrived early. Already the noise level was grating. I had a feeling about this restaurant. How was I to think, let alone talk to my dining companions? I wasn't wrong. Nice artwork on the walls though. The noise level became unbearable by 8pm, the waiting staff were inundated by the volume of orders.

Our dishes and drinks took an eternity. My crab risotto was so salty, to be inedible. Of course, it was not Arborio rice - it never is in these large turnover pasta/pizza restaurants. Most dishes we had were too salty. I didn't complain. There was no point. The staff were running around like headless chooks. The prices were steep for the quality and amount of food we received. We left vowing never to return.

After hearing and reading reasonably good reviews about this restaurant, I was bitterly disappointed. The only decent aspect of this restaurant is that it is very busy which is usually a good sign, and the food was quite tasty.

Apart from that it is a large sized room with the wood fired pizza oven in the middle that makes it very stuffy on a warm day/evening. It has concrete floors which allows the sounds of over 70 or so people bounce around the room. The service was extremely slow, the wait staff were not very apologetic, by saying to us "It's how the restaurant business is". One waitress even commented when we were leaving that she hated working there.

The food was good - servings were a decent size - not over the top but satisfying. The service was very efficient & the coffee was great. Overall, the prices were very reasonable & the restaurant was very accommodating for a large group booking.

The husband and I called in here for a bite to eat last weekend before going to a party. We were on a pretty tight budget, but wanted some quality pizza and a drink in a fairly short time-frame. We weren't disappointed!

We ordered the mediterranean pizza ($17.50 I think) and a drink each. The drinks arrived straight away, and the pizza about 10 minutes after that. One pizza was enough to fill both of us, but not to the point of being too full to fit in more beer later on! It was delicious... nice and crispy, fresh toppings and not at all oily. Very impressive!
