The worst dining experience I have ever had. Firstly there are things on the menu that sound alike so when you order them they bring out both, unbeknown to the customer. When asking about it they start in a condescending tone. There is no ambiance whatsoever. I won't be going back anytime soon! There is much better food elsewhere in the area!

Four of us attended Red Door on Easter Sunday for lunch. The meal was absolutely delicious, the dumplings amazing, fresh and clean flavours. Prawn and chives, peanut and pork and a chilli dipping sauce that really hit the taste buds. Wonderfully decorated, very relaxed atmosphere, I can't wait to go back!

We went there on Wednesday, 24.2.2010 with great spirit. The ambience was nice, the food was good, the service pleasant, until my wife found a hair in the sorbet. To add to this, when we received the bill, 2 additional items [buns, which we had neither ordered nor received] had been added to our bill. This experience was rather unpleasant, and we won't go back anymore. Pity!

Whilst the menu is limited, the food is fantastic. The cute furniture and eclectic feel makes it really delightful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The environment of all sorts of tables, and even a Chinese bed, amongst the other Chinese furniture makes this a pleasant experience. No where near as noisy, pushed service and cramped style of many yum cha sites. Limited menu of dim sums but good quality (pork bun to die for).

First of all book ahead, when we went, early on a Friday night, every single table had been booked. There doesn't appear to be a second sitting. Like another reviewer we added an extra person to our party and it was tough to squeeze them in, but we managed. The food is excellent, service friendly, the prices are cheapish and it's byo. Highly recommended.

I booked in advance a table of 5, Staurday night. On the day another friend wanted to come along. The table was large, but they did not have another chair!
The 2 staff were rude, unhelpful and surly. No attempt to help or assist in anyway. I also strongly believe the food would have been average as the service! Saturday night on Chapel St no booking my "party" and I enjoyed a fabulous meal/service at somewhere else. I will travel to China Town, CBD for Yum Cha rather than locally.

This is a great little spot to grab a tasty bite. I work around the corner and we all dream of the delicious dumplings! Great value for money and a good ambience. Highly recommended.
