I dine out at Rasa regulary. The quality and the variety of dishes here is probably the best in Melbourne. Price here is more expensive than other so call Malaysian Restaurants, but the flavour and quality od food at Rasa is far better than others. I always entertaints busienss associate here as the service is always friendly, and the restaurant not too noicy.

Very overpriced and very average quality food for the amounts paid (in some cases using very cheap ingredients), totally out of line with other places in the area.

Most disappointingly though was dishes were just not authentic, not sure if they were just trying too hard to westernize it. For example beef rendang was clearly missing at least have the spices/flavours it should have, roti was hard/flat - not flakey (looked like they'd bought it in a packet at woolworths across the road).

If they weren't so overpriced and, perhaps, been out in the country etc (with no competition) - would have been a 'passable' meal, however, there's a lot of extremely good SE Asian restaurants very close by in Carnegie, Caulfield and Malvern.

Don't be fooled by the location or facade, go in because you're about to get a big surprise! Rasa is a quality, creative non-standard fusion of exciting flavors with an ever changing menu. Can't believe I didn't know about this sooner!

Great value for money. Prices mid range. Food is excellent (has a lot of flavour). friendly service and great ambience. I've been here thrice and highly recommend. it.

A little on the pricey side, but well worth the money. It's obvious the chef loves to cook, as the food is full of flavour, and the service is great.

Though the food maybe a bit too pricey and a tad too small in portion, but I highly recommend this place as the food is fabulous !! Have tried a lot of other Malaysian restaurants but this one's the best (being a Malaysian myself) with the full on 'wok fire' taste, if you know what I mean !
