We had dinner here midweek. Lovely little pub/steakhouse. The steaks were reasonably priced. Cooked exactly the way I liked. Unfortunately, not so much for my friends. Their steaks were a bit on the under cooked side for their liking. Ambience was good. The service was ok. Value wise, I thought it was very reasonable. Will I eat here again? Maybe..

Great steak in a great pub. Open fire got to pick my steak out of a display case and it was perfectly cooked. More expensive than some pubs but I paid twice the price of here at Rockpool and the steak here is better.

I'm I fan of the Railway, the steaks are fantastic value, relaxed atmosphere, great service. There are not many venues left like this in Melbourne it's up there with the Station! I have lived in the area for two years and nothing comes close in Port Melbourne. I eat there weekly great pub.

Best steaks in Melbourne! These guys really know about meat and it is always cooked to perfection. They do some interesting specials too if you are not into steak. Service is good and Ambiance OK - has a sports theme. Go there for the quality of the food and you won't be disappointed.

Best eye fillets I ate in my whole live (and I ate already a lot in Germany & USA). The steaks are thick and cooked perfectly. So tender that it melts in my mouth. Everybody we have introduced to this restaurant agrees. Ambiance is rustic pub atmosphere. It is not cheap, but the steaks are so much better that it is absolutely worth it every time.

Overpriced and poor attitude! Well if you look at the website you would think these are the best steaks in Melbourne. My opinion they are good but way overpriced. $40 a steak and $4 for a sauce hmmm! I paid by credit card and usually tip my change but the attitude I received was downright disgraceful by a guy with a name short for Anthony. My GF was appalled because she used to work in hospitality. Will never go back.
