Went on friday, had to wait for a table with the 10 dollar meals and dockets people are going to the racecourse. Been a while since I had a steak in a pub but the porterhouse was good, maybe fraction less pink and I would said excellent. This place can have its ups and downs, thats more due to changing chefs and staff, rather than pokies and they do great chips now. i really get vegetables always chip and salad, the kiev is also worth trying. The wine list is reasonable though not flash.

Used to be a good pub until pokies took over. The food is terrible and service is even worse. Ordered 6 meals once and first 4 were served and then we waited 25 minutes for the others, no apologies, etc.

Also ordered a salad that was supposed to have balsamic dressing and they served it with none, when I asked for dressing they gave me a bowl of olive oil. When I told them it was not balsamic they said "we are out of that". Have had bad eating experiences here on many occasions (too many to list ) and have finally given up on giving them second chances.

Cannot recommend this place for a meal. Ok to go there just for drinks but the food is terrible. Ordered a chicken parmagiana one day and it arrived within 5 minutes. Cold in the middle had obviously been precooked and just stuck under the grill. Ordered fish the second time and it was raw in the middle. Chips were very greasy and tasted foul, as if the oil in the deep fryer hadn't been changed in more than a year. Terrible.
