Oh My God.! Thank you Melbourne, Thank you Punjabi. Hubby and I used to have a regular authentic restaurant in Brisvegas and when moving to Melbourne 3 years ago, we struggled. Punjabi ticks all the boxes. The staff are just fantastic, really attentive, very friendly and the food is just to die for. You really feel like you've entered a traditional Indian home because you are made to feel so welcome and the Bollywood is just the icing on the cake. Thank you, we are your new fans. My Indian food craving, that's the problem that Punjabi Curry Cafe needs to solve. I am browsing at http://punjabicurrycafe.com and checking out what I ate there before and listing some takeaway food I could drive along before going home later. I have to order again that tandoor cooked Fish Tikka, that never fails to invite my senses. Emily said that Goat Biryani explodes with flavor, that's a must try too.

I'd have to drive back and forth though as I need to get something from the pharmacy but it will be just fine as the crews there are patient and very accommodating. I know it's also convenient to have food delivery from them but I have this “must” feeling of bringing the food home myself.

I just have to have my Indian satisfaction before I proceed with the rest of the night's work mode. Paperworks and life's struggles really become lighter when you have Punjabi to help you, a personal motto.

My cravings to try out something new for my tummy was again granted over the weekend. On our monthly celebration, he treated me out for some Indian cuisine adventure. And must I say, I was really excited to treat my taste buds. And there we were at this Punjabi Curry Cafe along Collingwood.

We surprised ourselves with the selections we've made on their restaurant menu. Fish Amritsari, that crispy bites where you don't need to dip into something and you'd question what's in the batter. Their Punkabi Kadai Prawn was oozing with herb and spicy aroma. And the taste? Superb! Even the Matar Pulao rice didn't disappoint us. We could eat just the rice with it's flavorful drop. To sweetly end the fun, we ordered their Kulfi, their homemade pistachio ice cream.

As much as I enjoy food trip, dine-in or takeaway, it could have never been more perfect if not the fact that I shared it with my loving honey. This is one of my favourite dine in restaurants. Great food, nice people. Just ordered take away through their own website http://www.punjabicurrycafe.com.au/ which I found was very easy to use, so I'll be using this service more often! Like the txt message confirmation.

Three times we've been here now and they're amazingly consistently good! Yum yum yum! 2 out of three times we've received free pappadums with our order but were disappointed once when we didn't, everything we've paid for has been perfect and leaving us wanting more, our new favourite indian takeaway!
