    Went here for a mate's birthday. Had a 2-course set meal, which was just about worth the $35 per head. I agree with the other review, low lighting and just a general soulless feeling about the place. Oh, and schooners of beer starting at $9 is just taking the mickey a bit.

    Was very disappointed in this restaurant having read rather good reviews about it in the Good Food Guide. On initial impression, the lighting was way too low so much so that we struggled to read our menus even though we have perfect vision. We asked if they had a candle that we could put at our table but they said they did not even though our waitress admitted that many guests had asked her for candals in the past.

    The food was below average, I had a mushroom and asparagus risotto which was tasteless and watery. My partner had the rainbow trout which was average. However, the side order of "roasted" potatoes was in fact boiled and still hard. We left very disappointed and will not be returning.
