A delicious Italian treat would spell Portofino. It's along Port Melbourne area where you can find the most delectable pasta that I've eaten so far. Bolognese may seem an old favorite but when you say Portofino's Bolognese is a different way of saying it. It's heavenly as I imagine it. The sauce is just great you'll be asking for more. My friends and I love to pair it with that tempting Mushroom Bruschetta. As the description shows, it's cooked t perfection.

When you go to Portofino restaurant, you forget about your diet. It's a perfect place for celebrations of any kind. It is even the same experience when you do online ordering.

I usually bring my beautiful nieces there for some weekend treats of lush creamy Salumi pizza and their favorite Flourless Chocolate Cake. My friends enjoy the boozy Rum Baba cake. Family gatherings usually end up there too. It's the convenience of the place and distinctive taste that is Portofino that makes us come back for maybe years to go. Way more years to go Portofino!

Australia may be miles away from Italy but I came across a restaurant called Portofino that caters excellent Italian cuisine type. Their location is in 63 Bay Street Port Melbourne VIC.

I have tried their Poftofino Pizza and I just couldn't help but crave for it each day. In a scale of 5 spoons, I would rate it 4 and 1/2. The 12 inch Portofino Pizza is overloaded with mozzarella cheese and parmigiana. It also has rocket and prosciutto chunks topped with cherry tomatoes. The ingredients compliment each other very well. The blend of authentic Italian elements are just irresistible.

I am even delighted to find out that you can order food through their website www.portofinocaffe.com.au. Found in the website is the restaurant menu complete with pictures and prices. They assure instant confirmation and on time food delivery. You may also call them at 03 9681 8699 for home delivery. I love Portofino's, it is my cafe of choice in Port Melbourne and I've tried them all after working here for the last 7 years. Ange and Tony are the lovely owners who always have a welcoming smile. The food is presented beautifully and it's hard to decide what to have. Over the years I've stopped in after work to take home delicious lasagnes and salads, also had a quick meal before the theatre one evening and it was delightful. I tell everyone about them and I've always received positive feedback regarding their own experience! Go Portofino's, best cafe in Pt Melbourne for me!

I have never felt so disappointed after leaving a restaurant. Not only did the waitress take down the wrong order, but when the order finally did arrive (after asking me three times to repeat it), the coffee was cold and the cake was awful. I highly recommend you avoid this place.

This is the worst quality cake shop I've ever had to step foot into. You're greeted by the sloppiest staff who are absolutely brain dead when you ask them about what goes into their products. The cakes themselves are extremely average while they are less than the best tasting on Bay Street. I've lived in Port Melbourne for 21 years and I've never seen Bay Street hit such a low.

The cakes are to die for, they mix so well with the coffee of your choice. The staff are lovely and are more than happy to help you with whatever you need. The pizza is traditional with fresh tasty ingredients. Well done!
