The servings are generous and priced just right. Dining at Peko Peko is a casual and fun experience. The place has a nice vibe, certainly an ideal spot for a casual dinner with a group as the meals are big enough for sharing.

Been here a few times, recently yesterday. So far the dishes I've had have been very tasty. Not always authentic in taste but value is pretty good.

My friends did order the salt and pepper calamari box yesterday but apparently the calamari was bland and chewy, not melt in the mouth as usual.

Not had bad service so far, food comes out reasonably fast. Should book in advance as it's always crowded due to the small size. We booked yesterday and didn't have to wait.

Waited 25 minutes for a table even though we had booked. Food is always great but who turns off the coffee machine at 8.50 on a friday nite when the restaurant is full, you have to be kidding.

This is a charm to find. The prices are very cheap yet the quality of the food is amazing. The wasabi mayo shrimp was a pleasant discovery as was the house specials, pop chicken and the honey crispy beef. Then if you have any room left try their Japanese cheesecake, it is so light and a nice finish to the meal. The staff were so friendly and helpful and I can't wait to return.

I love the relaxed trendy atmosphere in here, but the service is always slow. Don't go here if you're in a rush. Food is good and at a good price.

Not Authentic! I was very disappointed with the service to start with, my meal only came out after 50 minutes of waiting and all my 7 other friends finished eating their meals. No apologies from the waitress. Yoshinoya's (very famous cheap and quick gyu-don shop chain in Japan) food is much better food than the Sukiyaki-don at Peko Peko. The meat was thick-cut and tough, the tofu was sour (off?) and the rice was squashy. I would definitely not go back there.

I miss this place, I used to go there every Friday with my boyfriend but now that he works in the CBD, we rarely go. My absolute fave is the Pop Chicken! The taste is just good! The seafood entree plate is nice too. I've brought a few friends here and they all enjoyed it.

Man, I love this place, you're hooked on the first bite. Takeaway from Peko Peko is a delight as you get your meal in a nice tray, everything in its designated area, well presented but this pales in comparison to the taste....it only leaves you wanting more.

A homely sweet café. Not too big not too small. Pocket sized with space somehow. Driving past you may not know it is there. But hiding amongst a few little shops it is.

Have a look at the sweet little pictures in tiny frames on the walls. The food is so fresh and the options are just what you want. If you are hungry or just feel like something small it is all there. And everything is good! I personally love the pop chicken box..mmmm. But whatever it is that you chose remember to get one of their delicious brownies with a scoop of black sesame ice cream on top! Yummy :)
