On the very first bite of the dumplings, it was a tad too salty but after which it tasted pretty all right. The shapes are intricate and cute. The skin was not too thick, which was great!

I suppose the food is pretty good, but for what is mostly made up of 50C worth of rice, some of the dishes seem a bit overpriced. Last time I went, I was seated in the back half of the restaurant where all the exhaust fans are, so for the entire time I was seated, I, and everyone else in the section, had air blowing down on our heads. Started feeling a bit sick after a while. If you're thinking of eating here, try to get a table up the front.

One of my favourite places at CBD to have lunch on weekdays. In addition to the good food, the place is very clean and you easily feel how caring the staff are. I really hope they intend to remain so.

Good food, quick and friendly service, but I was there during lunch and they appeared to have more staff than required. Quite enjoyed the somewhat pricey ginseng tea as well.

Totally agree with Sicbo333. Been to Oriental Spoon twice. First time, ordinary service but food was pretty good. Overlooked service.
2nd time, counter boy with a punky hairstyle greeted us by demanding why we didn't answer our phone. We were there on the dot of our appointment. Wow, it's a requirement to answer our phones to eat in this restaurant? Was extremely rude and with that attitude, onlookers might have thought he is the customer. You do not demand anything from your customers, period.
Nevertheless, gave him a piece of my mind and put him in his place. His colleague came over and told us its part of his job to arrange things around. Sorry mate, your operational problems are non of my concern, I am the customer not your friend to understand the issues of your restaurant. Walked away and told them to keep up their "good" customer service.
Always remember to treat your customers right but judging from their attitude, I highly recommend not to patronize this place unless you are an extremely tolerant person. Perhaps, the good business from students and their lunch hour has prompted the cockiness to their heads!
One advice, please hire the right people!

The seafood jeon entree was delicious, I think next time I might just get a couple of those for dinner. My husband had the pork bulgogi which was full of flavour, much better than my beef bulgogi. Not that mine was bad, it's just that his was fabulous! The portions are very generous, if you're a light eater you'll probably take half your dinner home.
The service was friendly and efficient. Our water was constantly topped up, and waiters were easy to get hold of when required. The checkout process could be worked on though. Instead of having a bill brought to our table or paying at the front counter we had to stand at a counter at the back of the restaurant while waiters awkwardly maneuvered around us.
Overall I was pleased with the experience. Tasty food, good service, and great value for money.

My family and I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. There were 6 adults and one toddler. And the manager showed us to the place at the front near the counter. He insisted that we should put our son in the tiny corner against the wall when it was clear that there was enough space to put the baby sit at the end of the table. He threw his temper and banged the utensils on the counter.
I will not go to this place again. If not for this incident, I will still rather to go to other Korean restaurants. So thumbs down for the service and mediocre food for its price.
